"Where is my hero?"
Oh, s**t! I panic a bit.
Somehow I managed to completely forget about the fact that I have a girlfriend, and even worse, I forgot about Grace even existing. I hear her approaching. f**k, f**k, f**k!
"Grace! Hi. When did you.." I greet her, my voice going up an octave while trying to figure out how I'm going to explain everything to her.
I feel bad for her, she doesn't deserve it. Grace has been nothing but loyal to me but right now the sight of her makes me feel uneasy and the sound of her voice just plain annoys me. I am an actual jerk.
"Goddess, babe! I leave you for a few days and you go saving damsels in distress. I am so proud of you and I already have a reward in mind." She seems not to notice me flinching at her touch.
