Renee  Wilson was pacing around like a nervous soon-to-be father. He was making me anxious. “Would you please just sit down!” I snapped. He cringed and dived for the nearest chair. I sighed and sat next to him, and stared at Avalon, who was back in her old cubicle. She was propped up on some pillows, and seemed to be alternating between fanning herself while she sweated profusely, and pulling up the flimsy hospital blanket to try and cover herself while she shivered.
