“Nikolai?!” Collin called out.
“What?” I looked at Collin and then turned to glance at what he was staring at.
I turned around and looked down the hallway at the front door. A male figure was standing in the doorway. It was dim and I could only make out the silhouette of his body. Collin slipped out and ran outside to the backyard. Collin shouting out ‘Nikolai’ confused me. Why did he say Nikolai? Was he talking about Nicky? The man stepped inside and then I could see him more clearly.
