CHAPTER TENJoe The van crawled up the hill, keeping a safe distance from Jessica’s Dodge Dart. Cotter slowed and pulled over, as Jessica parked and got out. “She’s heading to the apartment.” Billy spoke in a high-pitched singsong. Cotter grunted.
