This morning when I woke up, I felt lighter, like I've been carrying a huge weight around on my heart and shoulders for the past five years and now I feel like that weight is gone after talking with Javier.
It was a hard conversation to have but it was very much needed because if we didn't then we'd continue to go around in circles with me hating and being angry with him when all he was trying to do was protect the ones he loves whilst appeasing his poor mom and making sure she was at ease.
Despite this, I can't just forgive and forget what he and my family did because at the end of the day, they still betrayed me and lied to me when they didn't have to and I can't just forgive them for that.
