I remember a friend of mine once told me that I should cherish every single second, minute, hour, day, month, year etc with my parents because once they're gone, they're gone and you can't get back any of the time you've lost and you'll have to live with the regret of not making more memories with them when you had the chance.
He also advised me to never miss an opportunity to tell my parents I love them because that'll be my biggest regret and I'm proud to say that I often told both of my parents how much I loved them dearly and thankfully that's a regret I'll never have to live with.
