Little touches and small gestures...(III)

Natale POV I finished a bit early and had a few moments to pull myself together for my date with Jackson. By some lucky reason I decided to dress somewhat cool today, so I wont look that bad. Of course I should have offered to meet tomorrow, then I could have gotten ready at home, but I probably would have chickened out. I pulled off my work wear and pulled on a black t- shirt and a leather jacket on. I tried to control my hair and wear it lose, but it wasn't cooperating. So I pulled it into a high ponytail that looked a bit better and cooler. By some lucky star I found some eye liner and a red lipstick in my purse, so I can at lest make an effort to look attractive. When I was done I checked myself out in the mirror, I was happy with the way I looked. I looked a bit edgy and cool, and also mysterious and I hope sexy. So I guess I am ready? I made my way outside through the back entrance and when I stepped outside I was greeted by Jackson. He stood in front a black Jeep, dressed in black. And he was holding a bouquet of red roses. His smiled with this sexy little grin in his face as his eyes ate me up. I could feel my cheeks getting redder with every step. "Hi." I said as I walked up to him. My voice got strangely high. His smile widened. "Hey. Beautiful flower for a beautiful lady." As he was saying that he extended them to me. My heart stopped a little when he gave them to me. "Thank you." I said and burried my face in them. I rarely gotten flowers and never from a potential love interest. He laid his hand on my lover back and led me around the car. He opened the door for me and I was getting ready to somehow climb into the high car, but to my surprise he just lifted me up and sat me in the passenger seat. He picked up the seat belt and strapped me in. I was a bit stunned by his action and sat there as his hands worked. His fingers brushed against my thigh a few times and I felt my breath catch. He quickly finished the job, closed the door and went around the car. "Okay... I have an idea. How about we get take out and we can have a little picnic?" "Sure, that sounds like a great idea." He drove us to one of the fast food restaurant and we order through the drive through. I asked where will we be eating and he said to trust him... and so I did. "I thought that after a day in busy coffee shop you would like some piece and quite." "Yeah, that sounds perfect right now." "How is your hand by the way?" I looked the the bandaged up had and smiled. "It's good I guess, it stings if I try to touch it, but other then that it's good." "Good. I hope that man didn't return?" "No, it was quiet after you left." I could see his body relax a little, I think he was worried that the man returned. His concern for me made my a few butterflies rise in my stomach. "So I take it you are new to the coffee shop? I haven't seen you here before." "Yeah. It's really my second day here." "Oh and how do you like it?" "Well other then that dickhead I think it's good. Jasmin is great and I like working with coffee and people are mostly nice there." "That's great. I think it's really important to find you place in the world." "And how about you?" "Me... well... emmm... I'm in charge of a small town outside the city and I also own a few businesses." I turned to him little bit in shock. "So you are a business owner and a mayor? Aren't you a bit too young for all that?" He chuckled at my question. "Well I'm not as young as I seem and I inherited all of it from my father so I wouldn't say I'm too young... Oh look we arrived." Before I could ask any more questions he stopped the car and was already outside my door. I tries to unclasp the seat belt, but he was already next to me and did that for me. He again lifted me out of the car. He pulled a blanket from the back seat and took the food bag from my arms. somehow he gathered all of that in one hand and offered the other one for me. I tried to help him carry any of it, but he refused to let me. So he led me through the forest like he owned it. We stoped at a clearing that was higher up and from it opend a beautiful view to the whole forest. "Wow... it's so beautiful" "I hoped you like it... it's my favorite part of the forest." While was I looking at the beautiful greenery that surrounded us he set our little picnic. "Come, before the food gets cold." He pulled me right next to him and offered me a burger. We sat there eating, chatting and enjoying the beautiful scenery. He told me about his childhood, how his father father took him camping. How he tough him to love nature and respect it. I could here a little sadness in his voice while he told me that. Being here with him felt so good. I never thought that I would like a forest so much. I somehow never been in one. My parents lived in the city center, so the only trees there were in parks. We spent all our holidays on the beach or some other resort that was far from the forest. And any time in school there was a camping trip or anything related to a forest my parents wouldn't let me go... So I guess I never been in one. And now beeing here I felt what I was missing out on. I could feel the forest around me... it soothed me. After we finished eating we continued to sit there. We somehow ended up closer to one another shoulder to shoulder, our fingers locked together as we continued talking. I ended up telling my whole life story as we watched the sun set. We continued to chat there until the sun sat completely and we were surrounded by stars and the moon. I should probably be scared to be here alone at night with an almost complete stranger, but I felt safe with him. Like I knew him my whole life and that he would never let anything bad happen to me. Every cell in my body told me to trust him... and so I did.
