Only after I heard his rather disbelieving explanation, did I realise what my words implied, and the extent of the statement that I had made. Initially I had meant it no more than to say that she had some reservations in regards to the way that Marcel and I were choosing to go forth with our mate bond, but I didn’t think that he was going to react in the way that he was reacting now. He was obviously upset by what I had just said, but the problem now came in that he had misinterpreted what I had said. As if this situation wasn’t already bad enough, I was going to have to explain everything to him from the very beginning of it all.
