I took a deep breath when I closed the door behind me, knowing that I was likely just disappointing her with what I was doing, but it was something that I simply couldn’t help. I had hoped that after hearing my explanation, Hera would be more reasonable and understand that I needed to leave her alone, but that hadn’t been the case. She still hadn’t wanted me to leave, and no matter how I looked at it, I wouldn’t have been able to stay there. And now, I had left her there without saying much else to her, and I knew that I would have no choice but to deal with the backlash that it was going to cause, later.
