I had known that I was going to get a lecture the moment that I had finished speaking. I had been able to pick up on that thanks to the way that Annabelle had pulled her face. I was certain that the only reason why she hadn’t immediately jumped up with a snarky response, was because she was still being careful of how she acted and reacted around Hera.
