We moved as a unit silently through the trees, using our enhanced vision to watch out for the twigs and leaves that were littered everywhere on the forest floor. Alpha Ash seemed to have communicated to Cassy and Ste to break off because they separated from the group before alpha Ash performed an elaborate hand gesture to the wolves who were not in our pack. They seemed to understand as they too broke off. Alpha Ash raised his fist in the air, Peter and Paul stopped immediately and I almost collided into the back of them.
