Mia's pov
I stood on my feet from the bed. I stepped out of the hotel room, bearing it in mind that I needed to go pay up for another night. After walking through the distance, I got to the reception.
“Good evening, ma. Are you checking out?” That was the voice of the receptionist. Hearing her speak like that, I was thinking if I should just check out. Before they start poking their nose into what doesn't concern them.
However, I wasn't prepared for that even if I had the mind to do such a thing.
“No. I want to renew my stay.” I said those words to her and she nodded her head.
“Thank you very much for your patronage. You know the amount already. I will hand over the account for you to pay.” She said those words to me. Without hesitation, I collected the account from her.
