COINCIDENCE COULD ALSO HAPPEN MANY TIMES

I w a s left awed and amused by his expression. And I couldn't contain my laugh when he was wobbling like a drunk as he ran towards his classmates. But I suddenly felt sad when I saw him smiling while talking to his friends. Just when I summoned my strength to talk to him minutes ago.

Why did he not looked at me?

He was acting like he was scared.

Did I approached him at the wrong time?

He was always wearing the same facial expression when he entered here the gym together with his friends. Cheeks slightly blushing, shy and poker faced.

Our P.E. subject was supposed to be yesterday but because our instructor was absent that day, we were told that we had to join to another class so we wouldn't get behind. What a drag, I thought at first but when I heard that we were going to join class three, I suddenly got excited knowing that he was from class three.

I didn't know but I've been looking at him ever since that day, a month ago, when we celebrated our school's foundation day and remembering it made me smile.

I scratched my head and joined my classmates at the court.

When my turn came, I dribbled the ball while running and haphazardly shoot it. I bet I looked so cool with that stunt. But it would be cooler if the ball went inside the basket but it just bounced at the rim. Some of my classmates laughed. Blame me not. I like sports but it seems like the sports itself didn't like me.

The ball rolled and bumped at Cloud's feet and he picked it up. He was about to pass it to someone but his friends looked at him like please shoot the ball look. Pressured by his friends looks he embarrassingly dribbled that ball once and though it was quick, I saw him exhaled and threw it.

Awed, not only because the ball went inside the ring but also because he was standing on the three point line.

Our classmates roared at Cloud sending him praises and I was left standing in surprise.

What just happened?

"D i d y o u see that look on his face?" Jhon asked with excitement. "He was so dumbfounded!" He laughed loudly.

Tim slapped my nape that made me yelped.

"You're way too aweeeeesome, Cloud!" Tim throw his hands to my shoulders and placed his weight on me.

"It was only a coincidence." I said which was true. I wasn't expecting it to go straight inside the basket.

"So being the fastest on that fifty meter sprint was only a coincidence?" Jhon asked curiously.

"And also being the serving ace during our volleyball rally was also a coincidence? Your life is really full of coincidences, right Cloud?" Tim teased me.

I just made a frown. Yes, it was all coincidence.

It was true. I didn't do it purposely. It seems like I was just good at it even though I wasn't fond with sports or any physical activities.

"I'm thinking where does your powers came from that lanky body of yours?" Tim asked as if he was curious.

"Right. He's hiding it somewhere!"

I almost rolled my eyes. How unfortunate of me to have such bunch of idiots as my friends.

"Maybe right here on his stomach!" Jhon suddenly hugged me from behind and wrapped his arms around my waist while touching my stomach and laughed out loud.

"Hey!!! Y-You!! What are you doing?" I wiggled like a worm and grabbed his arms to untangle it from my waist.

"Maybe on his chest!" Tim also placed his hands on my chest and touched it as if he was searching for something while laughing.

I felt so embarrassed. It seems like I was molested by this two idiots.

Jhon also wiggled his fingers to my sides that made me burst out laughing. But we stopped laughing and their hands froze from touching me when we heard a loud thudding sound.

I wished the earth to cracked opened and bury me. He saw us playing around and the worst part was because we were in an awkward position like they were about to rape me in broad daylight.

It was his book that fell on the ground. Tim and Jhon let go of me and waved at him as if nothing happened. I was the only one who was left dumbfounded.

"We were only messing with each other." Explained Tim. "Right Cloud?"

I was startled upon hearing my own name and I suddenly stood straight and pulled my dishevelled shirt. "R-Right." I felt embarrassed to look at his face.

"By the way you're Shun, right?" Tim turned to him.

"Yes." He answered and I glanced at Tim. I was so jealous because he could talk at him so easily.

"Can you look at Cloud? We need to use the rest room suddenly." Tim said.

And before I could protest, they hurriedly left me alone with him. Oh great! I wanted to catch them but it would be rude if I was going to leave him there alone.

"Hi!" He said breaking the deafening silence between us and I didn't know what to say.
