START YOUR CHRISTMAS WITH A KISS

C L O U D

T h e e v e n t ended six-thirty in the evening and we were busy cleaning our area after. The results of the most profited class was released fifteen minutes after.

I heard cheers when the school council president announced which class made the most profit. Class 4, freshmen. Too bad, our class only ranked fifth.

It was already seven-twenty in the evening when we finished cleaning and decided to go home. Everyone was shouting and greeting everybody merry Christmas and happy new year.

The snow started to fall again. Yule tide season was really coming. And like a little kid, I love Christmas.

I loved it when I hear children singing carols. The colorful lights on the street. The beautiful decors inside and outside the houses. The tasty smell of foods. The family gathering. It felt so warm even though it was snowing.

My thoughts were blown when Tim and Jhon patted my shoulders.

"You gotta pay attention to your steps, Cloud!" Said Tim.

"Don't keep on thinking about 'him'" Jhon said, emphasizing the last word and I felt my cheeks heated up.

"Shut up! See you guys. Merry Christmas!" I said as I turned around.

"Merry Christmas, Cloud!" They shouted in unison that made me chuckled.

"Wait for Shun, Cloud!" I heard Tim said that caused me to looked around then I saw Shun running towards me while waving his right hand. I froze.

"Hey!" he said as he approached me.

"H-hey." I said shyly remembering our encounter that day.

We walked quietly.

"What are your plans on Christmas?" he asked suddenly.

"Umm, ga-gathering... I mean fa-family gathering. We're having one. Y-you?"

"Wow. Must be fun." He blew on his hands as the visible breathe flew on the air. "Well, I'm gonna stay home this Christmas." He grinned bitterly.

My heart went sad.

"Y-you can come at t-the house!" I blurted suddenly. His eyes wide open for seconds then he laughed. What the. My heart skipped a beat from that laugh.

"Thanks, really. But I'd rather stay home. I might ruin your gathering." He was still grinning and his eyes were shinning while looking at me.

"No!" again, I blurted without thinking. "I-I mean, you're not gonna ruin it. I-I. . ." What am I saying?

He stopped walking that made me stopped also then he looked at me with those pair of beautiful amber eyes that were shinning with mixed emotions.

We stared for a minute when I heard the sound of a train approaching. I realized that we were already near the station.

I started to walk inside the train when Shun pulled my hand that made me turn my body at him and crushed his lips with mine as I froze.

Yes, you read it right!

He just kissed me!

My last and first kiss!

I felt his soft lips moving before mine and it was sending shivers down my spine. Before I could react, he removed his lips away from me.

"M-Merry Christmas, Cloud," he said before he turned around and ran away.

I was left alone, blushing from the kiss, speechless and cold.

I f e l t so happy, walking together with Cloud in a snowy night. We were both wearing jackets this time.

I wish I wasn't wearing one so that he would let me share his jacket like last time. It was warmer that way though.

"What are your plans on Christmas?" I asked him to break the silence.

"Umm, ga-gathering... I mean fa-family gathering. We're having one. Y-you?"he stuttered. He always does that when he's talking to me. It was kinda cute.

"Wow. Must be fun." I placed my hands on my nose and mouth and blew some warm air. "Well, I'm gonna stay home this Christmas."

I am going be staying to my grandma's house during Christmas. But I wasn't saying it was boring there. It was fun being with my grandma. She's the best grandma that everybody would wanted to have.

But I wished I could be with my mom and dad this Christmas. I didn't think so. They were both busy with their works. They didn't know what holiday is.

I tried to crack a smile but I failed.

"Y-you can come at t-the house!" he said suddenly that made me paused for a moment and stared at him.

I felt warm and happy that I wanted to cry.

Nobody has ever let me felt like that feeling before.

He sees through me and I could see that he was trying to comfort me. How cute!

I just laughed.

"Thanks, really. But I'd rather stay home. I might ruin your gathering." I said without wiping the grin on my face.

He's just so adorable.

"No!" he said immediately. I could see that he was even shocked at what he said.

Oh God!

"I-I mean, you're not gonna ruin it. I-I. . ."

We were nearing the station already so I stopped walking and I just stared at him, adoring him. I didn't know what I was thinking. I was happy because he was worrying about me.

I can't take it anymore!

I want to kiss him...

When we heard the train approaching and stopped followed by the door opening, he turned his heels and took a step forward. My hand suddenly grabbed and yanked his arm and turned him to face me again and. . .

...now!

Using the momentum, I crushed my lips into his kissable one. I could feel him frozen on his feet but instead of stopping, I moved my lips on his. Then I realized.

What if he didn't like me?

I mean, what if he's not into men?

He might feel grossed at me now and would avoid me in the future.

With that thought, I disconnect our lips.

"M-merry Christmas, Cloud," my voice shook a little. And before he could react, I turned around and run away.
