Waking up on a Sunday morning is always something that has always been very refreshing to me. I'm not sure why, but I think it is just the fact that I know I have nothing to do and nowhere to be. There is a steady calm to the day that you don't get from any other day of the week.
Rolling out of bed I look over at my wife with a little smile on my face knowing that a bomb couldn't wake her up, so instead I go to the bathroom to take my morning piss and start the shower to get ready for the day. I'm not sure why the first piss of the day is the best, perhaps from a whole night of not peeing, but feeling my urine flow through me in a steady stream into the toilet bowl was a feeling of relief.
