Fortuitous Encounter

Alexander soon cleaned himself up and was about to get out of the lake when he suddenly noticed traces of flickering light coming out of the bottom of the lake. It's hard to notice when one is not paying attention. Alexander's exclusive pursuits included indulging in the thrilling world of bungee jumping and he decided on embarking on a daring dive into the lake's mysterious depths.

Diving down a short distance into the lake, Alexander soon saw a cave entrance and jumped in without hesitation. The cave entrance blended with the lake and could not be noticed easily. It was by coincidence that Alexander even saw the cave entrance. Jumping through the cave entrance,Alexander felt like the cave was cut off from the outside world,like it was a separate space.

Alexander couldn't help but be more curious about this cave. Walking along the tunnel for about 10 meters, he came to an empty space about a few square metres wide. There was nothing inside the space and it was obvious with just a glance. Alexander was surprised because, throughout the entirety of the space, there was only a jade bed. On top of the jade bed was a book made from unknown and rare materials with a jade slip and a tablet.

Beside the Jade bed was a large egg; its shell was inscribed with mythical runes and mysterious characters, illuminating space. Alexander guessed this egg was the reason light was flickering out of the cave. Pausing for a moment, Alexander's eyes moved to the book placed on top of the Jade bed, then he walked over and picked it up; looking at the book's cover page, three words were written in Dazzling characters, the 'Primordial Chaos Chant'.

Alexander took the Jade slip and the information stunned him. "Encumbered with this Three Birth Chant,the one receiving the Primordial Chaos Chant is accepted as my Legacy Inheritor, governing over the entire Aurora Island.When you practice this Primordial Chaos Chant to the fullest,one turns undefeatable among their peers."I daresay where Primordial Chaos Chant appears, Invincible throughout!"

The lines of words written in an arrogant manner were written by the sovereign of Aurora Island,Leylin Farlier, but reading further,it seemed like this Leylin Farlier wasn't able to practice this cultivation method, so he decided to use this as a sort of way for anyone to inherit his legacy.

A simple line of words,yet extremely arrogant and domineering!

At this time,a slip fell out of the book. Apart from the slip,there was also a grey-colored ring.Surprised, Alexander picked up both items from the ground. From the explanation on the slip,he soon got to know that the ring is called the Chaos ring and the mysterious egg beside the Jade bed is a dragon egg; a five-clawed golden dragon egg.

What Alexander did not imagine was that the Chaos ring is actually a spatial ring that only exists in legends and fantasy tales.The appearance of a spatial ring was something that he couldn't believe, he was breathing heavily out of fervour and excitement. Moments later, suppressing the excitement in his heart,according to the instructions stated in the Jade slip, he pricked his finger and dripped a drop of blood onto the chaos ring.

As the drop of fresh blood fell, a bright light shone from the grey-colored ring as it floated up and slipped onto Alexander's ring finger on his left hand by itself, then concealing itself in his body. When Alexander thinks of the ring, it flashes and appears on his ring finger.

Sensing the enormous space within the chaos ring,Alexander was delighted; it was more than a few hundred square metres and with this Chaos ring,it would be more convenient for him to carry things with him without worrying about others finding out.
