The roar of the autocarriage engine drowned her words and she didn’t try to repeat them. Instead she put on her cool, confident face and got into the massive vehicle. Til drove it over to the other side of the warehouse and stopped near the gyro. “About half an hour, then,” he said as he jumped down, “and you’ll be in the air.
