(Karson’s POV)
I was nervous, I actually won the mini-golf game without even trying. Ruby looked a bit disappointed and that hurt me. I wanted her to like me and to trust me.
“Well, I guess that means you will accompany me as my Luna, and because you were being a good sport about losing, how about I let you meet my wolf? I promise I’ll be by your side for the entire fundraiser,” Karson said.
“That… That sounds great, let’s head back to the pack house.”
The drive didn't take long. Once we arrived back on pack grounds, I opened the car door for her and led her to my favorite spot in the territory. It was a 10 minute walk from the pack house. No one had ever been here before I found it. It was a secluded area covered in tall trees, soft field flowers and a pond with crystal clear water.
