Walking into the Hospital, I let out a breath as the warm air from the heaters positioned over the entrance wafted down on me, cutting through the chill that had started to settle within me. Making my way to the reception desk I smiled as the South African woman behind it looked up and gave me a large smile. ‘Cassie, it’s good to see you’ she said as she stood up and leaned over the counter to look at me better. Frowning she shook her head, ‘you have not been eating properly, you look skinny.’ Laughing I shook my head, ‘Hey Dara, you always say I look to skinny.’ Dara chuckled, her warm eyes crinkling, ‘because you are, no meat on you child’ she scolded.
