It felt like time stood still for a moment...
I watched as Liam's grey beast sprinted towards me... furious and out of control...
Everything in me was ready for the confrontation... but just one small thing stood in my way!
Zira's ego!
I couldn't mind-link Liam, as I wasn't a member of his pack... but I could use the mate connection to reach him... that's if Zira could stop being childish!
"You better give me access to connect to Liam now!" I growled to Zira.
"I refuse!" She shook her head.
I looked at her p*ssed, shaking my head at her stubbornness.
Would she rather be killed by him, than have me connect to our mate? I just need a few seconds to explain to him why I have decided to decline his proposal.
