Surprisingly, the run through the tunnels took us quicker than expected, and as we exited the tunnels, the thick forest stood all proud before us.
This is where we need to be extra careful. On nights like these, most wolves go out for a run to have a moon bath and to hunt...
We approached with caution through the forest, but oddly enough it was dead quiet...
"Do you think everyone is down in the clearing?" I asked Douglas, finding the silence odd and intimidating.
"I suppose so... it's Alpha's daughter shifting after all... doesn't the packs usually make a big thing out of the ceremony?"
I wasn't sure.
Did normal packs do the same thing?
Did they all gather together and welcome the new wolf into their pack?
