Liam's POV
"You need to tell him," Nova's words played worried over and over in my mind. Nova knew something and Nerina was withholding that something from me.
When I came down the stairs, they were busy unpacking the picnic baskets, unconcerned that I was standing behind them.
"Nerina, do not ignore it! It's going to worsen..." Nova warned.
Tell me what?
"I don't think..." Nerina's voice died off, and her back stiffened before she turned around, seeing me taking the last step.
"Welcome back, Alpha, did you have a nice shower?" Nova asked, acting like nothing was out of order.
I gave her a nod of the head and she continued with her task.
