I stared at Tricia with incredulity. She was trying to rile me in to fall into her trap so I’d reveal more by myself but I’ll be damned if I do that.
I took a deep breath and focused my attention back to the manager wishing I had just remained at home. If it wasn’t for the supervisor, I wouldn’t be involved in this debacle.
I took a side-step away from Rosaline still holding onto my feet before I faced the manager.
“So, what are we going to do now?” I asked him.
“First of all I want to apologize for all the hassled caused,” he offered me a small smile “Since you haven’t paid for the dress yet it’s a good thing. I’ll ask Rosaline to apologize to you so you don’t have to make us enemies next time. Is that Ok with you?”.
Like I had any other choice.
