Medusa's Forbidden Love (Chapter II)

I could feel my heart cracking every second, I thought to say him sorry but soon realized that my sorry would not get me anywhere. I put all the pressure of the universe over my brain to find a way to get out of the terrible situation and even almost made the plan to lie to him but the next second I realized that even if I told him that Malania tried to abduct me, he won't believe me. For a second I looked at him in his direction but his deadly gaze was already fixed on me which made me gulp my saliva, I was getting the feeling looking at him that he was already aware of my intentions from the start. I thought to ask him but he gritted his teeth and I instantly forced myself to make a little distance between us. "I don't think they will take Malania's death easily, especially Jason! " Ayden spoke grabbing all the attention of Lucifer but Lucifer didn't let out a single word. Till now I used to think that his closeness was terrifying but today I realized that his silence was more terrifying than his closeness. I assumed the rest of the journey to her mansion would continue like this, but with every passing second, the distance we were covering was giving me an anxiety attack. Soon the car halted, pulling me out of my thoughts. The hell was right in front of my eyes and the devil was sitting beside me. Lucifer left the car and opened my side of the door, "Step out" He roared, making me flinch. I didn't move from my place at all and looked at him with a terrified expression. I do not doubt my head that he was going to hit me brutally until I started bleeding or maybe he would make me bleed on bed because that was what he loved doing with me. Oh god! He will make my life a living hell, Where you have pushed me, Dad? "By your actions, you are only fueling my rage Medusa, I am sure you don't want me to drag you to our room by grabbing your hair" He snarled clenching his jaws harshly. I was feeling like a terrified little girl, my gaze started looking at Ayden for help and the other guy, but their expression were as cold as Lucifer's. "Medusa..." I instantly shook my head, Lucifer wasn't in his senses, I don't want to go anywhere with him. I instantly moved to his previous side but my actions made him growl. His men got out and left us alone, Oh god, no, please! I screamed in my mind in panic. Now no one can save me from him. Lucifer bent down and looked at me coldly. I am doomed! I was about to attempt to flee from the car but grabbing my wrist harshly he jerked me out of the car. I shake my head and try to free my wrist from his grip but instead of slapping me, he again bent down, wrapped his arms around my thigh, and threw me over his shoulder. I screamed at the top of my lungs, grabbing all the attention of his men but my scream didn't affect me at all, he started striding to his mansion entrance ferociously. I even hit him on his back and asked him to leave me, but nothing was working for him at all. This time I wasn't disappointed because I knew none of my pleading would work on him. Inside the mansion, most of the maids were looking at me curiously. "Medusa...! Oh god, you are bleeding girl! " I heard Eve, "Please, please ask him to let me go, Eve, please... I don't want to go anywhere with him, " I begged even knowing that she was as helpless as me in this mansion. Eve's eyes widened in terror and she instantly looked at her stepbrother but Lucifer asked her to go back to her room. "But she... " Eve halted, maybe the devil glared at her. Without uttering a word, Eve passed me a sorry look and left. Soon we stepped into his room, he locked the door behind us and carelessly put me on my feet. I was almost about to lose my balance. I instantly stepped back from him and lifted my gaze to look into his eyes. His gaze was piercing my soul. My heart almost stopped beating and the scared butterflies started dancing in my gut. "You are already in deep s**t Medusa so be careful (hot breathe starts leaving my mouth and new tears form in my eyes) I want to hear your answers so make you don't lie to me" I took one more step back but he took a threatening step to me making my heart almost come into my mouth. I wasn't in a condition to reply to him and he was bothered getting a reply from me, instead, he continued with his question. "The day when I found you in my secret room, you didn't come here to say sorry to me right... " It didn't sound like a question at all, but it was a f-ucking statement. Should I tell him the truth? But what if he kills me? What if he hurt me or sent me to the brothel in his rage? I chose to stay quiet because that was what was best for me. A smile appeared on his lips, it wasn't an evil or dirty smile but this smile of his was sending my heart bitter feelings. "You were looking for evidence, right? Did you think that I wouldn't know anything about the things you were planning?" So, I was right, he knew everything but why he didn't say anything to me or stop me? He took more steps close to me and grabbed my wrist. I felt as if my life was hanging between the devil and the den. “I got defeated badly by my enemies, I and my mother were so close to losing our lives, all because of you. (My eyes opened wide in horror) I never thought that you would help my enemies get to my neck. I didn't think that you would spy on me!” He growled breathing heavily. I instantly shook my head in denial, how? How dare he to accuse me for the crimes that I hadn't committed. I was about to tell him that he had been accusing me but I recalled how I shared some of the documents with Malania and other important information about his locations. I think blinked my tears. "I wasn't aware of your enmity with Russian nor I was aware that Malania was a spy, I thought she... I was just trying to... " I halted my tongue at the right time. Malania was spying on Lucifer and his family for a long time, and I was just helping her to free her son from Lucifer who got trapped in Lucifer's cage because of me. "Lucifer, if I was aware, I would find some other way to help... " Stop Medusa, stop for god sake, you are only messing things up for yourself. "You were finding him, the love of your life, You wanted to help him to get out of my cell so that you both could escape from me. You were planning to leave me all the time and make me believe that you are in love with me! " his words made my blood curl into ice balls. I noticed how the madness and darkness both clouded in his eyes. Leaving my wrist he chunked my hair and yanked me in his arms. I felt as if he had set my head on fire, I felt as if he would pull my hair from my slap, my vision got blurry and my body started shuddering terribly. "You... You lied to me, All the words you told to me were lies, (His expression was looking like a true king of hell) You said you wanted to give our marriage a chance, (He recalled my words) You said you won't fight with me, You said that you accepted me... " He yelled. I gripped his fist in which he was holding my hair. "Leave me, please leave me... " I almost begged but he didn't stop yelling at me. He was recalling all the words that I told him one after another and my mind was recalling everything that he had done with me. I am not the person who forgives easily and the things that Lucifer had done to me, I don't think I would ever be able to forgive him. He was looking at me as ferocious menace stared at his prey. I so badly wanted to yell back at him but planned to say sorry to him because I knew my anger would only put me in deep trouble. "I... I am sorry... " My words fueled his rage, I think he read in my eyes that I wasn't sorry at all for my deeds. Before I open my mouth to utter the next word, he backhanded me hard. The impact of his strike was so hard that I was about to lose my balance and land on the group but his hand held me tightly at the right time. I touched my cheek and looked at him, even after trying hard, I couldn't hold myself and tears started rolling out of my eyes ferociously.
