I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw Alpha Jacob in front of me. He saved me. I am safe from Ada's hands. The moon goddess doesn't want me to die yet because I haven't taken my revenge. But it's funny that the person I wanted revenge on was the one who saved me from certain doom. It's true that fate loves to joke with everyone's life.
"Lilac!" Alpha Jacob quickly approached me and untied my hands and feet then hugged me tightly. "Thank goodness! I thought I was going to lose you."
