"Why did you bring me here?" I couldn't help asking Alpha Jacob after he took me to the top of the hill where we used to hang out when he and I were still in a relationship. Earlier, he told Beth to call me because we were going somewhere. Fortunately, whatever medicine that woman injected into me had no longer an effect on my body anymore, so my strength returned two hours after I regained consciousness.
