ZARA’S POV :-
I recorded everything he said on the phone. But all of a sudden, his voice stopped. Did he leave already? To check if he was gone or not, I peeked my head around the corner but suddenly a hand pulled me to the other side of the corridor, trapping me in between a body and a wall.
“Are you spying on me? Is that why Diego brought you here with him?” Daniel caught me.
“Although I’m not a spy, I heard something pretty exciting that can get you in trouble.” Hearing me, he started laughing manically.
“And you think he will believe in you? I’ve spent four years brainwashing him to believe how innocent I am and how much I care about him. Do you think he made me his heir just like that?”
“Then why are you misusing his trust in you? He loves you so much.”
