“Breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out... Relax. Calm down. Everything’s gonna be alright. There’s nothing to worry.”
I kept repeating these words like chanting a spell to calm my nerves. I was so worried about facing Caleb’s grandpa again that I kept tapping my feet in the car throughout the whole ride.
“Stop fidgeting. You’re going to have dinner with royal Lycans, not royal Bengal Tigers.”
“Is there any difference, judging your fits of anger?” Diego rolled his eyes and looked away from me, swaying his head.
Finally, we reached the great king’s palace. Even though I’ve been with Caleb for two years, I never came to this house before. So, being my first time at the palace, I was really nervous. Especially after the scandal I made.
