Lake’s POV
When we got to the River Blood pack’s territory in the morning it felt so odd. This was real now, I was going to be with someone other than my mate. “I Lake Towns reject the Blue Eclipse Pack.” I watched as my pack tattoo slowly disappeared and felt the pain of being unlinked to the pack.
“You’ll join our pack during the ceremony in a week,” Alpha Brayla told me. “We won’t mate until after that.”
“Okay, Alpha Brayla.”
She laughed before saying, “You can call me Brayla since we’re going to be together.”
