Phillix’s POV
I opened my eyes. Darkness… that is what I thought when I saw everything is pitch-black. I turned and saw Chris. She is sleeping beside me. My head is lying on her lap. I carefully stood up and walked to the door soundlessly to avoid waking her up. I looked below and then jumped.
The floating lilies on the lake gathered and lined up, creating a pathway for me. I landed on top of one of them. I walked, then looked back to the floating house as I stepped on the last lily. “Sleep well for a while, Chris.” I said and smiled sadly as I left her.
