Aahana and Aarav walked into the room; they looked confused. Samuel, Michael and Anderson had cold aura while Eleanor was just smiling. There was another man with steel grey hair and purple eyes, who turned towards them with a smile. The man’s eyes widened when he looked at the siblings. They looked exotic, and especially not from here.
“Aahana, Aarav, he is Crown Prince of Asiaur Augustus Leo Ambrose.”; Anderson introduced them. Aahana and Aarav nodded their heads. She held Aarav’s hand and smiled at the man.
“I am Aarav and this is my sister Aahana.”; Aarav introduced him as he saw the man get up. He was about five feet and eleven inches shorter than him. Augustus’ eyes glowed a little; everyone missed it but Aahana as she clenched Aarav’s head when she felt someone trying to enter their head.
Soon, Augustus’ smile flattered when he spoke up.
“No surnames.”; He questioned. Everyone’s smile flattered; they did not think this evil man would ask about that.
“We don’t really remember our surnames; it is only our names that stuck with us.”; Aahana spoke up. Augustus looked at her, her voice sounded cute to him.
“I am sure Archduke and Archduchess must have told you about it.”; Augustus said. Aahana and Aarav’s expression turned stony taking everyone aback.
“They sure did, but that surname just gives us disgust. Seems like even though we do not have our memories, yet body remembers the disgust it feels for those surnames.”; Aarav replied. Aahana looked away from everyone and stood even closer to her brother, coming out like a weak girl, who is hurt deep inside.
Augustus looked at Aahana and cleared his throat. He feels bad for what he did. Seems like they really are hurt. Someone cannot fake such emotions.
“I apologise for my questioning.”; Augustus said.
“I think you should leave, Your Highness.”; Anderson replied. Augustus looked at him with wide eyes.
“I genuinely thought that Your Highness came here to become their friend, but it does not seem like that. You came here to confirm if we were telling the truth about everything. You came here to take information out of Griffith’s family.”; Anderson continued. Augustus narrowed his eyes; he really isn’t good at gathering information.
“You are insulting me, Archduke.”; Augustus said.
“No, I am telling the person who insulted the Griffith family to leave the house. You should be grateful, your highness that you are your father’s child. If you were not my childhood friend’s child, you would have been in the dungeon, Crown Prince or not.”; Anderson said. Augustus gritted his teeth and walked out of the manor without a single word.
Seems like Griffith family has power. They even dared to insult the Crown Prince. Even if he is Anderson’s friend’s son, still it is audacious. The man came here for night stay but he was sent back before that. Aahana looked at the Crown Prince as he walked away with narrowed eyes.
While everyone’s eyes widened. They cannot have Aahana falling for him again; there won’t be a good ending. But they could not be more wrong. Aahana has high distrust for this prince. That piece of s**t tried to enter hers and Aarav’s mind. And even her body reacted with guarding up. She felt shivers of disgust when she saw the face of the prince.
“Are you okay?”; Michael asked to them both, but he just wanted to ask Aahana. He does not care about Aarav, instead he feels envious of the man. Why is he her brother, when he and Samuel are right here? They have been her brother for past three lifetimes so, why do it got to change.
“Does that prince have some kind of mind power?”; Aahana asked. Her voice shocked everyone; it was as cold as ice. She was angry, no one tries to mess with her brother and leaves alive, yet one did. She ruined her perfect score because of this shitty world. She wants to kill someone, and this prince seems to be at the center.
“I think it is emotion empathy.”; Anderson said. Aahana frowned and looked at him with a confused expression.
“Emotional empathy?”; She questioned again. She doubted the fact she heard it correctly, but Anderson nodded. Her expression turned to confusion.
“What is it? Does it do? Make other feels someone’s else emotions?”; Aahana questioned, as Anderson nodded. He hopes Augustus’ power does not interest her.
“Well, that is f*****g pathetic.”; Aahana answered. Everyone tried to control their laughter when she showed genuine expression.
“Aahana, behave.”; Aarav warned her. As she gave him an apologetic smile and apologize to everyone else.
“It is okay, dear.”; Eleanor replied.
“It is not really useless though, it can make someone emotionally crippled and can cause one to take his own life, in fear, anger or depression.”; Samuel said. He does not want his sister to have wrong information. Aahana nodded at the added information. Well, that could only be used who do not have mind manipulation.
“Why are you asking dear?”; Eleanor questioned.
“Oh, it is nothing. I had a hunch that he had mind power.”; Aahana said. They all nodded, not believing at all. She smiled and bowed down, taking her leave without another word as Aarav did the same and walked up. Everyone looked at them with sad eyes. She does not enjoy talking to any of the male members of the family is very much clear.
“She hates us.”; Anderson said.
“Does she remember anything?”; Samuel asked.
“I don’t think, otherwise she would have left the home. Who would want to see their murderer’s a face?”; Eleanor said in a mocking voice before going away. They cannot deny that what she said is true. They are her torturer and murderer; if she remembers anything at all, she would kill them or leave. They would like it better if she would kill them.
Augustus sat inside the cabin and narrowed his eyes. He tried to control their emotions, but something blocked him from doing that. He does not know if they are actually Archduke’s nephew and niece. But he is sure that they are not normal people. He did not sense any kind of mana coming from them.
“Back to palace.”; Augustus said. He sighed; he should have been careful. He will be scolded by his father and now he even has to tackle that Imperial Crown Prince. He has seen Ezekiel when he was very young. His parents took him to Imperial capital when he was crown prince to get a blessing from the Imperial family. He does not remember Emperor and Empress’ face but he remembers Ezekiel’s face and for some reason he never liked him.
