Aahana and Aarav frowned; getting out of the carriage. They were called back by one knight; they could not even look for a new home. They saw Samuel, Michael and their father Anderson on horses wearing armours. They both looked at each other and walked towards them. All of them looked at them while Eleanor smiled at them. “We are going to the battlefield. Please take care of my wife.”; Anderson said. “I can take care of myself, Anderson. You don’t need to trouble them for it.”; Eleanor said while smacking his arm. He smiled at her and kissed top of her head. It has been years since she has treated him with warmth. “We will take care of her.”; Aahana said. Eleanor looked at her, surprised, while Aarav nodded in return. No matter how suspicious they are of Griffith family, they have given them food, clothing and shelter. The least they could do is look after Archduchess. “Thank you.”; Samuel said. They all looked at how Aahana flinched every time they spoke, or she spoke to them. She was trying hard to control it but it was just so involuntary action. “Take care of yourself and come back alive.”; Eleanor said. She knows orcs are becoming more and more powerful. The knights in frontier could not control them. Almost everyone died at the border. She cannot help but worry about her sons and husband. “We will be fine, mother. I promise.”; Michael assured his mother. She smiled and nodded. Aahana and Aarav looked as they went away from them. All three of them stood there till they were no longer visible. Eleanor suddenly lost her strength. Before she could touch the ground, Aarav held her. He supported her weight from a side while Aahana quickly came to the rescue and supported her from the other side. Aahana did not know why, but her heart clenched when she saw tears flowing down Eleanor’s eyes. Truthfully, she did not even care that they were going to the war. She knows that Archduke and his sons’ lives will be danger but she does not care. Yet when she looked at Eleanor with tears, she felt pain like she has never felt before. She shook her head; she needs to calm Eleanor down before she can focus on her emotions. Aarav looked at Aahana but said nothing as they supported Archduchess and led her inside the manor without another word. The woman could not control her tears. She does not know what is happening? Is she too selfish to ask for a happy and complete family? Will she never get one, ever? First, she lost her life, then she lost her daughter and now her husband and her sons are at risk. Why is Goddess always against her having happy life? ………………………………………………………. Anderson, Michael and Samuel raced towards the border, with the army behind them. Every citizen cheered at them and laid flower petals for them. They were providing all the respect they have for the people protecting them, but deep inside they were afraid. They were afraid that they are going to lose. They are afraid for the family members taking part in this war. Yet, they cannot help and wish them well. They have no option but to fight. They believe in the Archduke. He has won plenty of war this won’t be different. They rode as the gates opened; the knights held the orcs back as all the army rode as fast as they could. They could not allow anyone of the orcs to get inside the borders. The gates closed as soon as everyone was out. The gates were sealed. This meant that either they kill or be killed, because the gates will be opened when every of the orcs are dead. “CHARGE!!!”; Anderson shouted as the soldiers ran forward and started attacking the orcs before him. Anderson’s green eyes sparkled as spell circle appeared on the sky. The green giant orcs stopped all of a sudden. They looked around but did not move. “I HAVE CREATED AN ILLUSION. THEY CANNOT SEE ANYONE OF US. ATTACK!!”; Anderson commanded. Samuel took out his sword, his eyes glowed and so did his sword. He ran to the army of unaware orcs as he started slaughtering every one of them. He being a weapon master, could not be stopped. As long as there is a weapon in his hand, no one can defeat him. Michael glowed golden as the whole sky turned golden red. Clouds took phoenix form as his body glowed bright golden with the fire. “Phoenix, BURN THEM ALL.”; The cloud phoenix suddenly became red before attacking a group of orcs. The knights took off the other orcs, while Anderson took a sword and started fighting as well. He had to keep his concentration because if he is distracted then the illusion will be gone. The orcs were walking around to see anything; they knew that there were a people in front of them just now. How can all of them be gone suddenly? The Orcs started swinging their arms and legs. Anderson narrowed his eyes. “BE CAREFUL!! THEY ARE TRYING TO HIT WHATEVER COMES IN FRONT OF THEM!!”; Anderson said. He frowned. Seems like he underestimated their new found intelligence. They know they are being fooled. Thank Goddess, they don’t know how to come out of the illusion. It was a matter of five hours, as they killed every knight. They cut their throats out and mutilated them. They did not show any mercy to these orcs, just how they showed none to their comrades. “WE WON!!!”; Anderson shouted. He was covered in blood from head to toe. He raised his sword to signify their victory. “YEAHHHHH!!!!”; Everyone cheered. There was no causality. Michael frowned. He did not cheer with them. “What is the matter?”; Samuel asked, as he wiped his sword with his white handkerchief. “Something is wrong?”; Michael said. “What is wrong?”; Samuel asked, as he sheathed his sword. “This seems too easy. Our knights could have easily defeated them.”; Michael said. Samuel chuckled and shook his head. “I think you are over thinking.”; Samuel commented. Just as he was about to walk away, the ground shook. Everyone stopped cheering and froze. Michael frowned, laid down, and put his ears to the ground. His eyes suddenly widened as he got up. “TAKE YOUR POSITIONS!!! WE HAVE MORE COMING TOWARDS US!!”; Michael said. Everyone looked at him in shock. Yet, they did what they were told. “How many?”; Anderson asked. “Millions, father, millions.”; Michael answered. Anderson looks back at ten thousand soldiers he has. He sighed and looked in front of him. He has to keep everyone alive and win this war. He is Archduke Anderson, of course, he can do it.
