“So what’s up with the deputy?” Nicki asked as she tugged on her shoulder harness, trying to make it comfortable. For such a short woman, she was very well endowed, and Jenn remembered it always tended to cut into her friend’s breasts.
“Stupid man went looking for his partner. When we found him the other day, he was not only a mess, he was pretty much incoherent as well. By the time we got him to the hospital, he’d become comatose, so I wasn’t able to question him.”
“But you can now.”
