My Duchess Pt. 3

             I pulled back and looked into Cassie’s eyes. I whispered, “They hurt you.” Cassie smiled, “You appear to have torn through them for that.” I said, “It’s not enough.” Her head was clear of blood now. She snapped and so was I. I’d probably gotten blood on her too. I looked down, but her snap must have fixed it. I put my arm around her shoulder. I said, “Sir….Alpha Eric Conners….we need to talk.” Eric snorted, “It’s still just Eric, Cayden. Let’s….go to my office.” Cassie popped us there. I’d been popped before, so I was fine. 

            She moved to sit down in the chair next to me. I sat down and pulled her into my lap. I whispered against her neck, “I’ll go on a fairy killing spree if I don’t have you in my arms.” I heard someone gag. I looked in the corner and saw two of Cassie’s brothers. Her little sister was bouncing up and down in the corner. Haley popped the rest of them in. Eric raised an eyebrow at how we were sitting. He sat the same way with Haley. He said, “I see you are dating my daughter. When did that happen?” I said, “Sir, I would’ve talked to you when we met yesterday, but I’m scheduled to leave tomorrow. I wanted to respect that your heritage is to wait until one is eighteen.” Eric started to pale. He looked between Cassie and me. I said, “She popped to the Hackura realm yesterday. She’s my mate, sir.” Cassie sighed, “You can call him Eric, Cayden.” The room was so quiet you could’ve heard a pin drop. 

            Finally Haley said, “Eric...say words….any f*****g words.” Eric said, “You’re...my princesses’ mate?” I nodded. Eric looked at Cassie, “Princess?” She nodded, “He’s mine, daddy.” Eric choked. Haley rolled her eyes. She popped to the front of the desk. She smiled at me, “I for one, am excited. I’m also excited...I don’t have to kick your f*****g ass for having a hot date.” That reminded me….Cass and I needed to talk. EJ groaned, “Oh fuck.” Alexander said, “Double fuck...Cass….we are so sorry….it was a joke.” Eric said, “What is going on?” Alexander said, “EJ and I were joking about Cayden having a hot date….he was babysitting so we couldn't spar today...Cass overheard us….she was devastated. She didn’t want talk then she went on a f*****g date that was a trap for the damn ring. Cass.” He popped in front of her. He had tears in his eyes. He said, “I’m so damn sorry Cass. Forgive me.” She rolled her eyes, “You didn’t do anything wrong. I should’ve just asked Cayden.” Eric said, “Yes, you should’ve Princess.” He turned to me, “I appreciate you trying to wait until you came back from your mission. When will you return this time?” I sighed, “I leave tomorrow. I want Cass to come with me now.” 

            Cassie looked at me in surprise. She whispered, “You do?” I nodded, “Yes, I need to focus...and I can’t do that wondering if some fairy is after you. I can’t worry that they could be using some note from f*****g Alania knowing when you could be vulnerable. I can’t Cass.” Eric frowned, “I’m not sure….” Haley sighed, “Cassie….do you want to go?” Cassie nodded, “I want to stay with him.” Haley said, “That’s good….since I think everyone is forgetting a rather significant f*****g detail.” Eric frowned, “What detail?” Haley groaned, “She’s seventeen Eric. She’s met her mate……” She trailed off. I frowned. What did that have to do with anything?” Heat flooded Cassie’s cheeks. I looked at her questioningly. No one seemed to get it...except Uncle Bjourn who was deeply amused and trying not to laugh. I looked around and saw Marcus and my dad. He winked at me. I smiled back. Eric said, “So? She’s seventeen….I don’t want her going dark on a Hackura mission so soon after this.” I offered, “We aren’t going dark. She can still talk to you every day.” 

            Haley sighed, “Well...probably not every damn day……” Eric growled, “Angel? What are you talking about?” Haley popped back to his lap, “She’s a fairy Eric…..A female partial fairy of mature age…..” I was looking around. No one got it. Haley groaned, “f*****g SERIOUSLY YOU GUYS?! Her concupiscence! She could go into her concupiscence….it would be better if she went with rather than just popping in wherever he was and popping away with him…..” Everyone winced. Except Uncle Bjourn, my dad, and Marcus. I bit the inside of my cheek hard so I wouldn’t smile. She’d had a concupiscence. I was already looking forward to it. I said, “I need a minute with Cassie, Sir.” Eric said, “Fine...and stop calling me sir. I’ve known you most of your life.” I smiled, “Ok…” Eric sighed, “Eric….Ok, Eric.” I said, “Pop us out, my duchess.” Alexander said, “I’m going to hurl.” 

            I laughed as Cassie popped us away to her room. She whispered, “I’m sorry.” I touched her face. I said, “You have to talk to me. That’s how this works Cass. I had no idea it hurt your feelings when I said you could date around before I got back.” She looked at the floor, “I only want you.” I couldn’t stop myself. I kissed her. I said, “Good….because I only want you. I want to have Bjourn to perform our Hackura bond. I want to feel you. I NEED to feel you after today. We can have a bigger ceremony when we get back, and of course there’s your tournament….that will probably be in a few years after I take over as Commander….I need you with me Cass. Come with me on this mission.” She smiled, “Of course I’ll come with you.” A knot released in my stomach. I kissed her hard. She pulled back, “I’ll ask Uncle Bjourn to do our Hackura ceremony when I pop us back down there.” She snapped herself into the commander’s mate's traditional dress for the mating ceremony with a few adjustments. It was still embellished on top with beads. She’d just made it a two piece with a satin flowy red skirt. I groaned, “Cass….you’re trying to kill me.” She giggled and snapped me into my traditional commander uniform. 

            Cassie ran her hands along my chest. I was shirtless. I had a guard on my hand and my standard pants. She whispered, “I think you’re trying to kill me.” I chuckled, “You snapped it on me.” She grabbed my hand and popped us downstairs. She asked, “Uncle Bjourn….can we do our Hackura ceremony?” Uncle Bjourn laughed, “Luckily for you Angela….had everyone gathered.” I turned and saw my mom fanning her face. My siblings were all here. I locked eyes with former Queen Veronica. She winked at me. The former king...Titus….was smiling so that was good. Cassie’s siblings were all in the office along with her uncles. Aiylee was in the corner. She squealed, “YOU LOOK AMAZING CASS!” I smiled, “She does.”

             Uncle Bjourn cleared his throat, “Hold hands.” I immediately took hers. Bjourn spoke, “My Niece has found her mate. She accepted him into her heart and will soon bare his mark. As a family, we accept him into ours and we accept her as our future Commander’s mate. Sanguis sanguinem meum, et sanguis meus elegit nos sentiunt inter se sentire, sicut et nos (Blood of my blood and blood of my choice feel us as we feel each other).” Cassie gasped as our connection broadened within each other. I could feel her humming inside me. My relief and happiness couldn’t be hidden. Cassie smiled at me. Her happiness was all around me. 

            She hugged her family. EJ came over, “You knew….I was telling you I’d set you up with Cass and you were laughing because she’s your mate.” I nodded, “Yup.” My mom ran over and hugged me, “Oh Cayden….she’s so beautiful. You two are a stunning couple.” She punched my arms, “I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU DIDN’T TELL ME!” I laughed, “Sorry mom.” She sighed, “You raise a man his whole life and this is how you are thanked.” Henrick walked over smiling, “Hypothetically man….I’m happy for you.” I snorted, “It’s not hypothetical anymore man.” Henrick smiled, “No...it’s definitely not.” My dad gave me a hug. I saw Cassie talking to her parents. Titus came over grinning broadly. He hugged me which surprised me. He pulled back, “I’m going to have Haley throw a parade when you get back.” Henrick gave me an I told you so look. Titus added, “Make her happy Cayden….or you will not be a happy man.” I gulped, “I plan to make her happy.” Titus smiled again, “Good.” He walked off. Damn… Cassie popped over to me. She giggled, “Let’s go!” I forgot she didn’t need to pack. She could snap everything she wanted. I shook her dad’s hand. He said, “Take care of her Cayden. You are taking a piece of my heart with you. I expect her to come home in one piece.” I nodded, “You have my word, Eric.” He nodded, “Good enough.” Haley smiled, “Have fun guys!” I smiled, “Thank you Haley.”

            Cassie popped us to my place. She looked around. I said, “You can change whatever you want here, my Duchess. I want to feel at home.” She turned around, “I just need you.” Her lips were on mine. I unzipped the back of her top almost unconsciously. It fell to the ground. I groaned, “Cass….” She didn’t have a bra on. I kissed her neck. I whispered, “We can wait, my Duchess. We can do other things or nothing…” I might combust, but I could do it. Cassie whispered huskily, “I want you Cayden. I want us….I want everything.” I picked her up and pinned her gently against the wall. I put her up high enough that I was eye level with her breasts. I lightly bit her n****e. She gasped. I told her, “You’re so damn perfect.” Our lust was bouncing off each other in our bond. I sucked on both her n*****s. I ran my hand inside her skirt and toyed with her damp panties. She whimpered. I bit her neck harder. I whispered, “I’m going to mark you….and you’re going to mark me.” She nodded, “Yes.” I smirked and tossed her onto the bed. She giggled and started to move back. 

            I jumped on top of her. I smiled, “Oh no….I’m giving the orders. You tell me to stop if you want me to. Ok?” She nodded, “Yes, My Commander.” I need some relief. I started dry humping her. Her moans and whimpers were killing me. I slid off her, and quickly made my way under her skirt. I bit the side of her leg. She jumped. I used my nose to separate the lips of her clit. I inhaled deeply. I groaned, “You smell amazing, my duchess.” I gently licked her clit. I eventually found the spot she liked. I smirked as her breath quickened. When she came I slid a finger inside her. She bucked her hips, but I didn’t stop. I repeated the process adding a finger each time until I had three inside her. She cried out my name, “CAYDEN!” I reached my hands up and ripped the skirt off her. I told her, “Move to the top of the bed, My Duchess.” She quickly slid back. I slowly reached down and undid the two belts on my pants. I let them fall to the ground. She looked at me with the most trust I’d ever seen in anyone’s eyes. I slowly crawled up her body. 

            I kissed her lips. She gripped my biceps. I pulled back. She said, “I'm ready Cayden.” I lined us up and slowly slid into her. I had to stop several times. I was shaking. I wouldn’t hurt her though. I waited for her to adjust. Once I was fully inside her I rested my forehead on hers. After a few moments she whispered, “You can move Cayden.” I slowly slid back out and into her. I fit….that was new. Cora couldn’t handle all of me. I threaded our fingers together and slid in and out of her. She was panting. I used my other hand and played with her clit because I was barely keeping myself from exploding inside her. She felt amazing. Her breath quickened. She whispered, “Oh god...Cayden….right...there….don’t….oh please...don’t stop….” She screamed. I let my teeth go into needles. I bit down on her marking spot. She screamed, “CAYDEN! OH MY GOD! YES!” Her walls clamped around me so hard I could barely move but I didn’t need to. I screamed, “f**k! CASSIE!” I felt her teeth prick my shoulder. She’d used her needle teeth too. She probably wanted my mark to match hers. Or she wanted to do both. The next second I felt her canines sink into me. I smirked. Both it was. Then I felt complete euphoria. I stared at her astonished. She’d shared her light with me. 

            Once we’d both returned to ourselves. I pulled out of her slowly. She winced slightly. I whispered, “Are you ok, my duchess?” She smiled lazily at me, “I’m perfect, my commander.” I said, “You shared your light with me.” She nodded, “Yup.” I kissed her, “You astound me. I was so scared earlier Cass. I’ve never been so angry in my whole life.” I slid my arms around her. She whispered, “They still want me, Cayden.” I held her tightly, “They can’t have you. You are mine. Forever, Cass.” She looked up into my eyes, “Forever.” Her eyes were fluttering shut. She’d had quite the day. I whispered, “I usually have breakfast at my parents’ house before I leave….” She smiled, “That sounds nice. We can do that.” I snorted, “I’ll bet it at the Castle tomorrow.” She shrugged, “Whichever. Make sure your parents are invited. I love you Cayden.” I kissed her softly, “I love you too Cass.” She fell asleep. 

            I called my dad. He answered, “Didn’t expect to hear from you tonight.” I snorted, “Cass fell asleep. She’s had quite the day.” My dad teased me, “Mating and marking can do that…'' I hissed, “Plus fairies trying to kill her.” My dad said, “Let’s focus on what I said….instead of that.” I asked, “Did breakfast get moved to the castle tomorrow?” My dad laughed, “What do you think?” I said, “I think it did.” My dad snorted, “You were always smart.” I looked at Cassie and told him, “She wanted to make sure you all knew you were invited.” My dad said, “We will be there, son. I’m very happy for you. Your mother has been on the phone since we got back. The whole family….on both sides are happy for you two.” I laughed, “I’m happy too. I’ll see you tomorrow.” I hung up the phone and pulled Cassie to me. Her hair did look stunning splayed over my pillow. Just like I thought it would. I nuzzled her neck and fell asleep content with her by my side. I should’ve just asked her to come with me yesterday, but now….now she’d be with me. I would protect her. I swore it.
