Kevin choked on his drink, coughed and laughed.
“One reason I chose a profession that requires a uniform,” Taren said.
Colleen turned to Taren. “Kevin was right, he’s so out of your league. I’m glad to see you found someone to put some style into your life.”
Taren took Ian’s hand and smiled. “That he does.”
“What can I say, I can’t resist broad shoulders in a uniform.” Ian paused. “Or out of it.”
“You boys had fun. Any chance of letting a girl play?” Colleen was looking at Taren, but her question was really directed at Ian. As Ian’s Dom it was only polite to ask his permission, even though the decision was Ian’s equally.
The choice was obviously Ian’s. Of them he was the only one who hadn’t regularly indulged in group events.
