Prologue
Into the world of desire and longing, I transpired. Fused by the curse of the moon, love emerged in every thread of my being. How could I resist such a connection between us? The nocturnal cast an enflamed glow through the cave enough for me to see the woman in front of me. Her wavy blonde hair was like a curtain sheathing the night while her whole form spoke elegance. Against shadows and light, Val's presence trembled my existence and I could feel her lascivious passion towards me as she lifted her hand on my face, touching my skin lightly. Her eyes shone like a pair of Aquarius gemstones, decreasing my tenacity from her dominance. Those gaze of desire was determined to own me and I certainly wanted to be possessed as long as it was her. I couldn't deny this bond between us anymore, for it was too strong. Seeing her almost dying had diminished all my hesitation and doubt. I wanted to protect her just as she was willing to shield herself to protect me.
"Sage, I'm yours as you're mine. It's a gift that no one can ever take away from us," Val muttered, placing her forehead on mine gently. "I'm dying to be one with you, my half-moon."
"Then let us be one tonight," I said, almost in a whisper but full of determination. Those words brought a new life to her face and it aroused me to the core that we were going to be united as one until the end.
That sole idea put comfort and happiness in my heart.
With unmeasurable yearning, Val pressed her lips on mine. The graceful touch of her kiss made me feel so light as if I was soaring. I wasn't aware that darkness could be this erotic as I closed my eyes, yielding from this sensation.
The cursed night witnessed our soulful connection, bonded us together in a link that would never be broken. As long as death keeps itself away from our union, as long as we have a will to live together, nothing could ever cut the ties of our love for each other.
