CHAPTER 4

"Oh my! Ang ganda mo hija!" Tili ng isa sa mga stylists ko. They are smiling at me and it made me smile as well.   Maybe mom has the sweetest smile if she is still alive. And I am thankful of them, stylists. They really helped me up preparing myself.   My eyes are getting teary again as I stare at my reflection in this full length mirror. I'm wearing a wedding dress. It's sleeveless and some parts are even see-through. It's a bit showy but still decent. My blonde long hair is half tied and they curled it. I also have a pair of glass shoes. I don't have a veil. I just wondered why this beautiful gown and sandals fit perfectly on me.   Thoughts are in my mind. Ang bilis ng mga bagay. Una, bigla nalang nawala ang iniingatan kong virginity. With my age, big thing na ang virgin pa sa panahon ngayon. Second, heto ako nakasuot ng wedding gown at ikakasal na. Isn't that confusing?!   "Hija..."   I got back to my senses and looked at the other stylist. "Yes? Pardon."   "They're waiting." She said and smiled.   I just nodded and they three helped me to walk since we're here at the fourth floor where the rooms are located. And wow! Elevator. Elevator pala ito. May elevator naman pala naghihirap akong naglalakad.   "Your oh-so-handsome groom doesn't want you to get tired." One of them said.   "Dahil daw mamaya ka niya papagurin." Sabi naman ng isa saka sila tumawa.   I feel shy. Nakapalibot pa-square ang mga kurtinang malalaki sa venue, making them not to see us passing through. It's so nice.   Nang nakapuwesto na ako, they gave me the bouquet of white roses at nagsimula nang tumugtog ang wedding songs at dahan dahan nang pumapagilid ang mga kurtina. Slowly, I could see that black and white theme of my wedding.   They all turned their heads on me with a smile. Hindi gaanong madami ang pumunta. I think relatives lang yata niya.   I started walking. There he goes, wearing a black and white tuxedo with his popular smirk, waxed hair, deep dimple, and shiny blue diamond earring on his left ear.   So ganito pala ang ikasal. You're nervous. But maybe it'll add more nervousness if you love the person you'll be marrying. Ako kasi, sapilitan.   Damn! He chuckles as he puts my right hand on his left arm. "We're triplets and it's obvious." He cheerfully said to me.   Hindi nalang ako umimik hanggang makaharap kami sa lamesa at pari.   The priest started the ceremony. We shared in one veil. Our candles were lighted. Chord united us. And whatever there.   After that, we exchanged our vows, rings, and I DO's kahit labag sa loob ko. "Brie and Yu-Rhi, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss your bride." The priest said before ending the ceremony.   We faced each other. He smirked and I remained emotionless. Then he abruptly kissed me gently and the crowd clapped and shouted.         …         After putting a white long dress... I went down to face his family. Mas nauna yung kasal kaysa pagpapakilala niya sa 'kin sa pamilya niya. Great, right?   On the same yard, the tables and chairs are well arranged. Italian ang foods at isine-serve ito in plates already.   "Hello honey." He greeted when he saw me at the staircase and kissed my forehead as he guides me to a very long table.   He's wearing a black long sleeve, jeans and rubber shoes now. He looks good as usual.   There they are, seated on front of long dining table, are gods and goddesses; the clan of Mendoza.   "Hello darling." An elegant woman stood and went to hug me. "Call me 'mommy Anne'. I am your husband's mother." She said with a smile. She very pretty and looks so young even in her early 40's I think.   I shyly nodded at her and smiled. This is my first time meeting such elite people like them.   "And I'm daddy Nick honey." A gorgeous man who looks just like Yu-Rhi stood and hugged me too. I just did the same. Since it's my first time to meet them. "I'm TAM." His twin said the one who wears a wide smile.   "Call me ZEM." "And I'm Zharn."   Zharn...   Agad akong napatingin sa isang dyosa! Wow! She's just so beautiful. And that adjective isn't enough to describe her.   "I'm your tito Toffer." "This is tita Leeianah, my wife." He said and looked at a beautiful woman beside her. "And I bet you know that idiot." He pointed Zac who is now eating but glared at his dad for a while.   I chuckled. He's never wrong in describing his son. "Hello po." I just said.   "Actually, wala si Zyche, yung kakambal ni Zac at ang kapatid pa nila na si kuya AC." Yu-Rhi said to me. "Even tita Alex isn't here."   I just nodded.   "Oooh. I can't believe that the rebel is now married." TAM said mockingly.   "Yeah. One monkey down, one more to go." ZEM seriously said and looked at TAM.   I can't help but laugh at them. "Oh my... so magkaka-apo na rin tayo Nick." I glared at him but he just pulled my waist!   "Hmm, don't tell me inuna mo na agad Yu-Rhi yung honeymoon." Zac said while smirking!   Oh God! How I wish you were here to kill these demons.   "Shut up jerk." Yu-Rhi snapped.   Nang matapos na 'kong kumain, Yu-Rhi held my hand. "So..." he said and stood up so I did too as well. "We're leaving."   What?!   "You know, to  get started." He added and winked. The driver started driving and I don't even know where we are going!   I pinched his arm. "Saan tayo pupunta? Ano’ng start?" I whispered.   He smirked and held my hand that pinched him. "Batangas. For our HONEYMOON."
