I once again broke her heart. The appearance of rejection during and after our visit was obvious. I had to do it though. Especially after the conversation I had earlier.
Her cop friend, Amber, I think that was her name, came to see me earlier. She made it appear to be an official visit, but it was really just to tell me what had been happening to Katrina and those around her.
Amber seems to think that if I let Katrina go, then she would leave for school earlier than planned. You can definitely tell she doesn't know Kat very well.
I tried to explain to her that Kat wouldn't just leave because I told her to, but she said we had to try. Her life depended on it. I told her that I would figure out something, but still didn't know if it would work.
