11. Initiations & Interrogations

After some deliberation, Mina and I settled on taking a couple weeks to shore up our supplies and plan a quick, quiet scouting trip into what Billy claimed to be the Sliver Warehouse.
Just the two of us.
Mina had looked almost ashamed to suggest waiting until afterwards to tell the others, and I didn’t want us falling back into her old management habits, but I didn’t disagree. There was partly the issue of wanting to do this unnoticed, but more than that, there was Billy’s promise of a way to differentiate between Splinters and humans.
Sadly, that possibility was best kept need-to-know, at least until we were sure.
Then we’d know we could tell them everything.
We would keep this close, work out our plan, find out if Billy was telling the truth
