CARA’s POV. My eyes finally trails over the curtains on the window and then the silver clock on the wall which reminds me of how I have spent a hour and few minutes seated in the sitting room of the woman Victoria wanted to see badly and even after an assurance from one of her workers that she would be with me shortly I still haven’t seen even her shadow.
