Inherited Darkness

“It all started with the move to a new place in Los Angeles.I had to come along with the move,because I don’t have a job and I don’t have enough money to afford school,and a place of my own. I technically had a job,but I helped at the hospital.To make it more comfortable for the patients,and I helped at the blood bank,by taking people’s blood and giving it to the hospital. For patients that need a blood transfusion,or something along those lines,but I only got a few dollars every week,which I guess it’s better than no money” *After a few hours went by* Rose suddenly heard heard her god mother’s voice say “Rose it’s time to wake up we have arrived at our new home” So Rose woke up,while rubbing the sleep out of my eyes,and she yawned while saying tiredly “Why did we even have to move?” My mother then said “It’s because there are too much bad memories at our old house,and I don’t want you to be haunted by those memories.So this is going to be a fresh start for both of us” Rose nodded her head and she got out of the car,grabbed her bags from the trunk,and she brought all her stuff inside the house. As Rose walks upstairs to find my room,but once I walk into a big room I suddenly see a dark figure in my new room,and I scream. My mother hears my scream and comes running upstairs, and finds the room I was in and she says “Rose are you okay?What is it?” Rose then says “Don’t you see that!” My mother then says “No I don’t see anything Rose.Maybe you're seeing things right now because you are nervous about the move?” The dark figure disappears,as she turns and faces her mother,and says “Yeah,maybe you’re right”As she places her bags down on the ground, and continues to say “I am going to go for a walk,maybe go figure out where the school is” My mother then says “Okay Rose,be safe and be back home before 6:45 Pm” Rose nods her head and leaves the house to go walk around to find the school’s to figure out which one she goes to. *After a couple hours passed by* Rose suddenly hears someone scream,as she runs over towards the person screaming. But once she gets there she sees someone doing something on the person’s neck. She dismisses it,but then the girl turns a bit to face her and says “Help me”As she says it with a weak voice. Rose then comes up to the girl and the guy,and says while pulling the guy off of the girl “Get away from her” The guy suddenly laughs and says “Would you rather take her place my dear?” Rose then says “I will take her place,but you have to let her go.Got It” The guy grins evilly and looks over to his first victim, and says “You are free to go” Then he turns his attention to Rose and puts her up against the wall,and he sinks his fangs into her neck and starts drinking her blood. But then after a few seconds,he suddenly stops and says while coughing up blood “Go….away….now……bad……blood” Rose then says “What do you mean by bad blood?” “You have evil blood…….Just…….Go!”As he says it with green veins starting to show on his neck,as he quickly runs off. As Rose puts her hand on the side of her neck,then brings her hand over to see if her blood somehow changed,and when she looked she saw 2 different types of blood,they were bright red and gold. But then the girl from a few minutes ago came back,and says “Are you okay,and thank you for saving me” Rose puts her hand down to her side,and says “No problem,and yeah I’m okay he just fled.So anyways why did he attack you?” The girl then says “Because I didn’t accept his protection.Why did he flee with you?” “He said that I have bad blood,and what do you mean by you didn’t accept his protection?”As Rose says curiously. The girl then says “Your new here aren’t you” Rose then says “Yeah why?” The girl then says “Because everyone here knows you need protection to stay out of danger here,but with you.You may not need protection.Oh by the way I am Katrina” “I’m Rose, nice to meet you Katrina”As Rose says nicely. Rose then looks at her phone and turns it on and sees that it is 5:50 Pm,as she suddenly says “I’m sorry but I have to go back home.I hope you feel better” Katrina then says “Okay,Rose see you later” Rose nods her head and quickly walks home. *A couple hours later it’s now 9:20Pm* Once Rose gets inside her house she goes into the kitchen,and grabs a paper plate and takes some pizza,and puts it on the plate then sits down at the table,and begins to eat her dinner. Then she suddenly heard a voice say “Rose come out.I’m in the backyard it’s Jackson” Rose’s curiosity perked,as she got up and walked out to the backyard. Jackson went up to her and immediately hugged her while saying “Rose I’ve missed you so much.Once I heard you were in town I had to come and see you” Rose then says “I’ve missed you so much as well.How did you know I was in town?” Jackson smiles and says “I have my connections,but right now that doesn’t matter right now.What matters right now is being with you” *He then pulls Rose in for a loving kiss.As Rose kisses Jackson back lovingly* After a few minutes went by. Jackson feels that something is off about Rose,as he suddenly stops and says “What’s wrong?” Rose then says “It’s just something weird happened earlier today” Jackson then says “What happened?” Rose then says uneasily “Earlier I saved a girl’s life,but I had to take her place,and when I did a guy said I have bad blood,and then he ran off” Jackson then said in a concerned tone “Who was the girl,and what do you mean by bad blood?What did the guy look like?” Rose then says “Her name is Katrina,and the guy said I had evil blood.The guy was a vampire and I couldn’t really tell what he looked like” Jackson then says “Okay thank you for telling me this.Do you feel better now after talking about it?” Rose nods her head and says “Yeah” Jackson picks Rose up and carries her upstairs,and walks into an open room,which he assumed was Rose’s.Then he placed her on the bed and opened up her bags,and took out two pillows and a large fur blanket that he gave her,on Christmas. Jackson smiled as he held the blanket, and says “I remember when I gave you this blanket.We had an amazing time that day,we could have another fun day” Rose then says “Yeah we can,but for right now I need some sleep” Jackson nods his head,and puts the blanket overtop of her,and says “Okay Good night Rose”As Jackson is about to leave. But just then Rose says “Can you stay with me tonight?”As she sits up and takes her shirt and pants off,and puts on a white silk pajama housecoat,then lays back down. Jackson then says “Of Course”As Jackson climbs into bed with Rose and takes his shirt off,and lays down beside Rose.
