45The dining room was beautifully decorated with linen tablecloths and china place settings. Wine glasses and water goblets sparkled, and colorful floral bouquets, again in the low globes, were placed on all the tables. Becca noticed a garland of white and blue flowers that stretched the length of what she assumed was the head table. “Becca!” Gaby waved from the kitchen doorway. “Come and get something to eat.
