Luke’s POV
Twenty nine minutes and dozens of questions later, I finally stopped talking and shook the men in front of me. “Thank you gentlemen.” I said.
“You know this is good work, so we’re happy to join in.” one of them said and the other nodded his head.
Zach also extended his hand to shake them and after that, we watched them leave. I gathered the files and closed shut my laptop, then I stood up again and started to walk away, Zach not far behind me.
“I can’t believe Adam gave you the wrong files, Luke. I’m glad you were able to rustle something useful up.” He said.
I didn’t answer because I was really angry and this was partially Zach’s fault. Not only was he supposed to get the file from Adam himself, but he was the one that was up about how I shouldn’t bother him.
