“Delilah, no splashing!” I called to the kids in the pool. There were about twelve kids total swimming while Lacey, Lily, and I sat under an umbrella watching them.
“That girl, I swear,” Lily grumbled.
I laughed at her. “She’s just spirited. Even if you don’t want to admit it, she is a lot like you, Lily,” I told her. Lily rolled her eyes, and Lacey laughed.
“I don’t know how you guys keep track of all these pups,” Lacey commented.
