The air between us feels thick with something heavy, something electric that’s making my skin tingle and my pulse race. Fabrizio’s eyes are locked on me, dark and full of that intense hunger that I’ve seen before—but this time, it feels different. More dangerous. There’s an edge to him tonight that wasn’t there before, and it sends a shiver through me.
I can’t move, can’t look away. His gaze pins me where I stand, and I feel my heart pounding in my chest, my breath shallow.
