Chapter 1-1
Chapter 1 1980, San Jose, California Officer Dino Parelli strode in the hallway behind his former academy mate, Norris Bander, checking out the sharp and tight blue wool uniform. Bander had a hot ass and was two inches taller than his own 5’9” stature. Parelli knew Bander was sexier, but Parelli wouldn’t be kicked out of anyone’s bed. He’d love to advance their close friendship into a s****l one. He knew he should lift weights like Bander. Once in the empty briefing room, they rushed to get an end seat, jostling and pushing each other. As usual, they were thirty minutes early for the ten P.M. police roll call. Briefing sergeant Joe Walters, the only other person in the expansive room, stood at the podium and barked, “This is the f*****g San Jose Police Department, not grade school.” Bander tensed. “Okay, Sarge. Sorry.” The guys smirked at each other. Parelli moaned. “Yes, Daddy. Are you going to tell Santa?” They read wanted bulletins. The sergeant groaned. “Parelli, why the hell can’t you be like Bander and show remorse? How in the hell did you get through the academy?” The door opened, and Officer Amelia Honeycut strolled in. The attractive and curvaceous creature had two years seniority on the guys, coming up on two years themselves. Honeycut responded, “Sarge, you must be talking to Parelli. Rumor had it he blew all the training officers in the academy.” “That was you, Amelia,” Parelli retorted. She shrieked, “Oh! It was me! Well, we all have to be good at something.” She cackled and sat in front of the guys but turned back. “Norris, just so you know, a few of the female officers were talking about guys they’d like to bang, and you were towards the top of the list. You’re sexy, have cute dimples when you smile, and your hair is sexy, longer than average but always neat and clean, and you’re fit and so polite and don’t disrespect female officers.” She smiled, looking at him in the eyes. “Just so you know.” Dino moaned. “What am I, chopped liver?” He took in her tall, athletic build, hot ass, and light brown hair put up in a bun. She sure as hell qualified as good-looking. He wondered how much of her blowjob reputation was true. He appreciated she obviously worked out with weights. The sergeant slammed a book closed. “Damn, I wish for the days when everyone in blue had a Johnson.” Amelia blinked innocently. “Johnson?” Parelli whispered, “That’s a wee-wee, you know, penis.” The trio of officers laughed and reviewed department updates and wanted bulletins. Other officers filtered in, taking seats at the Formica, twenty-foot tables with old style wooden chairs. At ten, Sergeant Walters took roll of the dozens of officers staffing the midnight shift. Various other supervisors added comments, a bawdy joke was told, and everyone headed out to his or her patrol car, not that there were many women in policing. Dino Parelli piloted his car around his beat, handling routine calls, sometimes alone, half the time with another officer assigned. Dino enjoyed being awake while the rest of the populace slept. He met Bander at a twenty-four-hour convenient mart for coffee and chocolate cupcakes. They chatted with the clerk, watched the till while he used the restroom, and headed behind a closed shopping center, standing and chatting. Bander groaned. “I’m falling asleep.” Parelli shook his head. “Take a nap. I’ll babysit you.” He again admired Bander’s sexy build, 5’11”, one hundred eighty-five pounds with a chin dimple and handsome face. “I hate sleeping on duty.” “f**k it, night workers have slept on duty forever.” “It’s against regulations.” Parelli smirked. “So is this.” He reached into his car, grabbed the microphone, and blew into a duck call over the silent police radio. Other officers moaned and commented back on the radio; some clicked their microphones to make static. When the radio calmed, Parelli keyed the microphone again and blew another series of duck quacks. Bander cracked up. They hugged in humor. Other officers clicked their microphones and one responded, “Bang, bang. Got him.” Then on the radio, “Parelli! What’s your location?” Bander smiled. “Sarge is on you.” Parelli answered, “Cottle Rd. and Santa Teresa. To the rear.” “Wait there!” “Yes, Sarge.” Parelli shoved the duck call down the front of Bander’s blue, wool uniform pants. “Hold it for me.” “Like all the dope we find on people and they say, ‘Honest, officer, I was just holding it for a friend.’ Did you like shoving your hand in my pants?” He laughed. “It wasn’t bad, but I’d love to do it to Amelia.” He paced. “Do you believe the rumors that she sucks everyone?” Bander barked back, “Aw, rumors are bullshit. She likes attention; probably started them herself. Damn, we have a thousand male cops but only twenty-four female officers on the department. I’ve heard they all put out. Rumors. Bah!” He slapped Parelli’s arm. “I didn’t hear you deny you sucked all the instructors in the academy when Amelia accused you.” Parelli covered his face with a hand, trying to be shy. “I didn’t suck all of them.” They laughed. A patrol car approached. Their sergeant, Tom Anderson, got out, wearing a scowl. He strode up to Parelli with his 6’4”, two hundred fifty-pound frame. “I want this duck s**t to stop as of yesterday.” He held his hand out. “Give me that f*****g duck call.” “Tom, I don’t know what you’re talking about. I have no duck call.” He crossed his arms. “If I have to search you, your car, and equipment bags, I’ll do it. I know it’s you doing it.” “Why do you think that?” “Because you’re a f*****g wise-ass prankster. The rumors of your stunts in the academy made it to the PD before you graduated, and you almost didn’t graduate. Plus, you’re always pulling some joke. Where is it?” Parelli puckered his lips. “I shoved it down the front of Bander’s pants.” The sergeant shot around to face him. Bander made his eyes large, opened his mouth, and floated his upturned hands in the air and looked at his crotch, shaking his head. The sarge took a step toward Bander, glared at Parelli, and stabbed a finger at him. “Knock it off.” He got in his car and sped off. The guys laughed, again clutching each other, giving Parelli a half hard-on. Parelli held his hand out. “Give it to me.” “Come and take it.” “You’d like that.” They laughed again, and Parelli shoved his hand deep, found Bander’s c**k, and extracted the duck call. “Seriously, Dino, you’ve taken this joke as far it can go. Give it a rest.” “Yes, Dad.” He pouted. “Did you like my hand in there?” Bander smirked, “Hey, skin is skin. Gave me a boner.” “Oh, at first, I thought that this was your d**k, small and thin.” “You won’t say that when I decide to shove it up your ass.” He grabbed the duck call. “I’m keeping this for a while.” “You tease but never follow throw.” Bander shook his head, and they drove off to patrol the night, with Parelli wishing their s****l banter would come true. An hour later, Dino spotted an old yellow Plymouth driving quietly. He pulled in behind it and picked up the microphone. “Dispatch, Unit seven-one-seven, run California plate 842 DGG.” “Copy.” Dino’s mind jumped, and he cackled aloud to himself, “Got it! Robbery suspect from two months ago.” The dispatcher called, “Seven-one-seven, that plate is related to an armed robbery; use caution.” “Copy, gonna stop it.” He turned the revolving red and blue lights on to pull the car over. “Stopping at Blossom Road and Winfield. Code Three back up.” Adrenaline coursed through his body, as he knew anyone remotely close would be flying with balls to the wall with lights and sirens. The dispatcher barked, “All nearby units respond Code Three for seven-one-seven with an armed robbery suspect.” A cacophony of voices flooded the police radio, answering the call with sirens in the backgrounds. The adrenaline made Dino’s heart pound. He tensed his jaw as he drew his .41 Magnum revolver from his holster. He stayed behind his open door for cover. “Driver! Out of the car; hands up.” The Plymouth’s car door opened, and a skinny, scruffy guy, looking totally like a meth head about Dino’s age of twenty-five, stepped out. He glanced around with his hands down. “Hands up!” Dino glanced around for innocent bystanders, in case they shot it out, and saw none, a benefit of the night shift. He sighted his handgun in on the driver’s chest. The driver slowly lifted his hands as he looked around. Sirens sounded in the distance. Dino barked, “Back up is coming; if you’re going to run, do it now, but I won gold medals in track and field in college.” Dino licked his dry lips, and he reminded himself to stay focused. “Walk to the front of my car, and then get on your knees.” The man complied. “Hands on top of your head.” He did it. “I don’t have a gun. On me. It’s in the car.” Dino waited. A patrol car with lights and sirens activated lurched over the cement road divider, skidding to a stop. Bander jumped out with a shotgun aimed at the crook. More sirens, more cars with cops and pointed guns. Dino holstered his pistol and cuffed the driver, searched him for weapons, and put him in the back of his caged police car. The cops settled, and guns were holstered. Accolades circled with pats on the back. “Hope you got the right guy.” “Damn, that wanted bulletin was two months ago. I can’t remember them from last night.” Dino’s sergeant walked up with the bulletin. “Dino, you found gold. Everything matches, descriptions on the driver and car. Search it, tow it, and take the guy to the PD. Good work!” “Uh, thanks, Sarge, but I want to get consent to search the car. You know that US Supreme Court decision that limits searches.” “Damn it. Do what I say. Why do you always have to argue? Why? Why?” Bander joined in, “Uh, Sarge, I hate to say it, but Parelli’s right. Consent is best. We don’t want the search to be thrown out as illegal when we get to court.” The sergeant threw his hands in the air. Two plain-clothes detectives sauntered up to the trio. “Who made the stop?” Parelli lifted his hand. One detective, a moose of a man, towered over Dino and thumped him on the back. “We’ve been looking for this guy. He’s responsible for robberies in four other jurisdictions, plus some in San Jose.” The other detective, black, tall, and athletic, shook Dino’s hand. “Good police work. If you don’t mind, we’ll get consent to search the car, tow it, and take the guy in. Okay?” Bander croaked, “Why get consent to search?” The first detective advised, “That f*****g Supreme Court decision makes everything muddy. Consent is best.” Bander and Parelli laughed; the sergeant escaped to his car. Parelli held his hand out. Bander passed the duck call to him. Parelli and Bander went to the sergeant, and Parelli handed it to him. “I won’t do it anymore. Sorry I made you mad.” The sergeant stared. Bander stood silent. Parelli walked off. The sergeant barked at him, “Parelli.” He stopped and turned. “Takes integrity. I respect that.” The night shift ended. From the parking garage, a cadre of blue-suited cops of assorted ages made their way, carrying equipment bags, to the locker room. Bander bumped Parelli. “Want to get a few drinks?” “Nope. Gotta go home and make breakfast. Chris is coming over after she gets off work at the hospital.” He winked. “You lucky dog.” “I hope I can stay awake long enough to bang her. I’m tired.” Parelli smirked, “Wanna hide in the closet? You can say you’re looking at her, but I know it’ll be me.” Bander flipped him off but smiled and wagged his brows. * * * * At home in his little two-bedroom starter home, Dino set about making coconut pancakes, scrambled eggs, and ham. The doorbell rang. He rushed to open the door. His blonde slender girlfriend, Chris, leaned against the doorframe, looking exhausted. “Just shoot me.” Dino squatted to her level, kissed her, and carried her to the kitchen. “Coffee?” “No, just food, s*x, and sleep.” They ate with droopy eyes. Dino inquired, “How was the shift?” “Busy. I love the emergency room. I didn’t see you showing your pretty face.” They ate, or rather scarfed, the food he prepared. “I’m playing it cool since we got caught kissing last week. Plus, my sergeant is all over me. He thinks I’m doing the duck call on the radio.” She perked up. “I was in the employee lounge when you did it. I heard it on the police scanner we have there.” “It wasn’t me! Why does everyone accuse me?” In dramatic fashion, she slapped a hand on the table and scowled. “Don’t lie. I’ve had enough of lying men in my life.” She smirked. He pecked her cheek. “I’ve never lied to you.” He bit his tongue and grinned. “Admit you’re the one. Then take me to bed.” He grew his biggest grin. “Of course, it’s me.” “You’d better cool it for a while.” He pouted. “That’s what Bander says. Everyone’s a killjoy.” “Ah, your boyfriend, the sweet Officer Bander.” “We are not. Well, not yet anyway. I think he’s straight.” “Then why did you put your hand down his pants tonight and feel his d**k?” She smirked. “That bastard. He told you?” He jumped up and threw her over his shoulder, carrying her down the hall with her giggling. He flopped her on the bed. She threw her hands to her face, trying to look innocent. “Oh, what are you going to do to me?” He moved next to her. “Make slow, romantic love and cuddle you to sleep.” They kissed and undressed. Dino wore his new purple mid-rise briefs. Chris was in matching rose-colored bra and panties that Dino bought for her. Chris whispered, “Dino, I’m so tired. Just f**k me hard, and let’s go to sleep. We can make love when we wake up.” “You’re still on the pill, right? I don’t want to be a daddy.” She nodded. “Yup. No one who is still sixteen emotionally, like you, should be a parent.” With Chris on her back, Dino mounted her and shoved his c**k into her wet p***y. “Are you saying I’m childish and immature?” “You have a lot of little boy in you.” He grinned. “Thank you for noticing.” He rested on palms and toes as he accelerated his f*****g until their bodies collided with each thrust. Their grunts and moans comingled. He dropped to his knees and kissed her, driving into her as his leg and ass muscles contracted with the pounding. “f**k! Oh, f**k me, f**k me, f**k me!” she screamed, sending him into overload. His c**k contracted and shot into her. He growled with each spurt of his d**k. They kissed. He rolled off. They held hands and were quick to sleep.
