Jareth Pov     We rode through the night and through the next day, but Louis wasn’t having it to go another night without stopping. Honestly, I was surprised Thais wasn’t complaining as well and I was mostly pushing them because she wasn’t complaining. I knew my Assassins could ride for days without stopping except for breaks for the horses and relief, but I was impressed by Thais and how little she complained. I had been watching her, the way she sat straight on her horse, the perfect positioning. Even when she slept, she had no trouble staying on her horse and I couldn’t see any signs she was exhausted.
