The quiet was normal, but something about it was tugging at the bear shifter. Warning him to get up, to move around, to look. Lenny stood up, stretching. He could hear the soft whispers of Lottie and Nicki talking. Well, it sounded more like Lottie was crying and Nicki was trying to comfort her.
