Chapter 4: Stars Realm

Percy's POV

My feet dropped on a solid ground. Ok, this is actually really weird. I meant we were on the air right? of course even on Olympus, we could see the ground or path. But this stars realm's ground was nothing except a white solid cloud. I couldn't even see my feet either.

Anyway, the place is pretty cool actually, like you are standing in the universe. Thousand of stars and planets around us. There were Greek designed temples. They weren't white marble, but golden.

"Wow" I heard Artemis.

"Beautiful isn't it?" I told her.

She took my hand and smiled. "Yeah, it is."

Suddenly, 11 lights lit up around us. Artemis and I took out our weapons immediately.

"Chill , chill guys" a golden armoured guy stepped out from the light. "I came in peace."

The zodiac finally appeared with their mighty and beautiful armours. A guy with the armour looked like a goat with fish tail stepped up.

"Welcome to the Stars Realm" he announced. "Or you may call the celestial world."

"Your place sure is beautiful." I stated.

"Of course" a beautiful girl with pink hair said. "When added with a handsome man"

She poked my chest. I suddenly felt a pain surged through my hand. Then realised Artemis was squeezing it.

Scorpion I guessed by his appearance came close to Arty with a smirk. "Also with a beautiful lady"

Now is my time to get mad. What is wrong with these guy? I thought their captain was being held as prisoner. And they are still chilling like this. Not to mention chilling with my girl.

Artemis gave him a deadly glare. Oh no. Ever since we were dated, Artemis's hatred towards males had been decreased, but this Scorpion just awakened it. I stepped up in front of Artemis.

"Sorry dude" I said. "But she's off limits"

"Comon man" Scorpion groaned. "It's been along time since we got someone to visit."

"Enough all of you!" A guy grumbled. His golden armoured kinda impressive though dangerous with those decorations with the golden sheep's head shoulder plates, swords and battle scenes. He looked like a copy of Ares.

The other quieted as they stared at him. Aries I supposed, walked closer to me as he pointed his finger at my chest.

"I'm telling you Percy Jackson." He said. "My lady, Asteria might've trusted you, but with me, that's crap. If you fail to save our captain, then don't hate me if I slaughterer your people."

Artemis gripped her bow tight. Luckily, I caught her hand to calm her down. Sure these guys were ridiculous. I mean they asked for our help, but they said like we were their prisoners and were forced to do it.

"And about all of you" Aries turned back to the Zodiacs. "Leo might've gone, but that doesn't mean discipline is also destroyed. Now go back to your work and save the captain!"

They all gulped and saluted then picked up their weapons.

"Let's go" Aries said and started to walk away.

~~~~~TIME LASPE~~~~~

We have been walking for a long time now. I wondered where the hell were they taking us. But it was worth the walk since we had time to actually looking and enjoy the view around us. Artemis was smiling the whole time as she stared at those stars and planets. Her eyes just lit up by the image of them. She simply made the place to be more beautiful.

Sure the others (except Aries of course) still took time to chill with us. I've made some good friend like Aquarius, she actually respected me, even I beat her. Capricorn, one for the most enthusiastic guy. Taurus, talking about manly, this guy really is. Also perverse if you want to add. That really irritating me when he kept looking at Artemis's butts the whole time. I had to move my position few times back there. Also there was this Scorpion guy, a player if you mean. Kept coming to Artemis. Lucky for us that Sagittarius, a dude happened to look like Chiron, had taken Artemis's interest since they both in with hunting and shooting. That actually prevented Artemis form killing Scorpion. I didn't really wanted to make any rivalry so not, especially not with Aries. Also there was Virgo, with personality just like Aphrodite. You know what I mean, annoying as always. But lucky for me that Artemis came to the rescue whenever she tried to make a hit on me. The others were actually cool to make friend with like Pisces, Gemini and Libra. They were actually normal out of all.

Capricorn suddenly stopped. Made me pump into him.

"What's wrong?" I asked, rubbing my forehead.

"Ares is upfront" he said.

Aries moved back to us. "Now here's the plan. You two trying to distract him while we get close and free Leo. Since, he knows you two, he wouldn't do anything just yet."

I turned to Artemis and we shared the same thought. "How about we do it on our way?l I said.

Aries frowned at me.

"We will distract and rescue Leo" Artemis said. "You guys just need to assist us in case if anything happen."

Aries stared at me for a moment, his mind was thinking hard wether to trust us or not.

"And what if you fail?" He asked.

"Then we can't go back" Artemis and I said

simultaneously

"Fine" Aries said. "Remember what I told you. You fail, your people die"

I smirked at him. "Keep dreaming around it."

With that I stepped out to face Ares.

"Long time no see." I said.

Ares turned back. Probably surprised. "Huh? You're here already?" Then he turned to Leo, who was being tied to a pole. "Look like your little girlfriend didn't care for your life"

"Never thought you would choose this coward way to fight us Ares. Where was all of that 'I will beat everyone' of yours?" I mocked.

"Urg shut up brat" Ares snapped. "If it wasn't Zeus's order, I would be now slaughtering your campers."

"Oh" I said. "Or because you're too scared to actually fight me?"

Ares stepped up, gripping his swords's handle tightly. But then he closed his eyes and smirked. "You think I would fall again for your trap little brat?" s**t that guy has a brain. "You want me to fight you, then have someone sneak behind and free him. Unfortunately, I've prepared for that."

Ares waved his hand and a portal opened in front of us. Stepping out was a group of nature spirits and satyr, with wooden armours, shield and metal swords. How did Zeus manage to get them?

Artemis gritted her teeth behind me. "They dare to us this filthy process"

"What is that about?" I asked. "Why do these satyrs stay on Zeus's side?"

"You're being controlled, mind controlled by Zeus."

"Wait..." I said. "Zeus castes spell on them?"

"No" Artemis answered. "If he does that, I would be easy for us to destroy the spell. They were poison. Zeus has made them to drink some kind of potion. To brainwash them."

"Let's get you taste our new experiment products." Ares said and pointed his finger at me. "Kill him!"

The unit started to approach me. I stepped back and took out my weapon.

Suddenly, behind me, Te zodiacs jumped up and clashed against the unit.

"Job of assistants" Scorpion exclaimed.

"Go" Aries yelled. "We can handle this!"

I nodded at him and ran up to Ares. I was about to cut the chain around Leo when a sword came out of nowhere to block mine.

"Oh no you don't." Ares said.

I swung his sword as I jumped back. "Like the last time eh?" I told him.

That guy was pretty excited with fighting me now. He lit his blade on fire. "Let's settle it again!"

We lugged at each other's. Our swords clashing in all directions. It's been a long time since I fought Ares, sure his skill had been improved. But what about me? I slashed my sword as he dodged and threw his sword at me. I rolled under him then rose us and caught his hand.

"Artemis now!" Yelled for her.

Artemis notched her bow and shot an arrow at Ares. Ares stepped back, missing it just a few millilitres. Ares pushed me away and laughed.

"Artemis" he said. "Goddess of the Hunt has finally missed her target. What a shame?"

"Who said she's missed?" A voice suddenly came behind him. Ares widened his eyes and turned back, to see Leo, already untied.

Ares glared at me. "You tricked me!"

I tapped my head. "War tactics"

"Hell that was a good shot for ya" Sagittarius yelled to Artemis from a distance.

"Now Ares" Leo the lion turned to him, cracking his knuckles. "Who said I was weak?"

Ares stepped back in fear. "Now now now Leo" Ares said. "You might've misheard about it. Let's talk about this shall we?"

"Ask my Regulus." Saying that, Leo's hands glowed as he lugged at Ares. Ares was terrified as he started to run.

"Light Of The Lion!" Leo yelled and he shot his giant light ball at Ares.

BOOM!

Any explosion came and what left behind was a half conscious Ares, God of War.

Artemis ran to me and looked down at him in disgust. Leo walked up to us with the other Zodiacs.

"Thank you for your help guys." Leo said. "We owned you this time."

"No problem" I scratched the back of my head. "I hope we could work together next time."

"I was wrong about you." Aries said, though he really didn't want to say it. "But I want to say thank you and my apologies earlier."

"It's alright man" I said. "All had worked out at the end."

"Yeah let's-"

"Ahhh" a screamed cut Scorpion's sentence.

I turned back and saw Ares with his arm around Artemis's neck and was pulling her into a portal.

"You're coming with me, princess." Ares grinned evilly as his body emerged slowly in the portal.

"Percy" Artemis screamed, trying to reach me.

"No Artemis" I ran forward trying to to catch her hand.

"Percy..."

"Artemis!" It was too late. She was disappeared and in front of me was just a view of the celestial world.

"NOOOOOO" I just screamed out. Why until the end we still have to be separated again?

I stood up and tried to chase after her when Taurus and Pisces held me back.

"Let me go" I screamed. "I need to safe Artemis!"

"Percy" Leo stepped closer. "We'll plan to save her later. But you need to get out of here now! The portal is about to close. You will be trapped here forever."

"No I need to find her!" I shook my head. "Let me go!"

Leo closed his eyes and waved his hand as a portal appeared behind me. "I'm sorry man."

"Let me go" I shouted, kicking my legs as the two Zodiacs dragged me into the portal. "Let me go!"

But I was dumbed in, and everything around me went dark.

Artemis's POV

Darkness was all around me, I couldn't see anything. I'm sure Ares was still holding me as we were traveling through the portal.

Suddenly, the place started shaking as everything around me started to change shape and colour. I was shot out from the portal and unfortunately, my head hit a rock.

I head was still dizzy from the impact and my vision started blurry. Though, I could make some sense.

Ares was laying on the other side of me unconscious like he was attacked by someone. The. I heard footsteps came as I saw a head of a manticore. I tried to get up and run. But my feet betrayed me. Two monsters picked my up by the arms and started to drag me away.

"She's the one the Lord needs" one of them said. "Leave the other God there. He's probably dead from the shot of our lord."

My vision started to turn dark until I felt unconscious.
