Chapter 19: Big New!

Artemis's POV

I sat up suddenly, climbing down the bed and sprinted to the toilet. It's been two weeks since we got back and I have got this morning sickness every day. I'm sure kept my daily diet, also food in camp was never poisonous. But I still had the vomit feeling every morning.

"Artemis are you ok in there?" Percy's voice coming from outside.

"Umm..." I started. "Uh...I'm fine...I'm fine"

"You seem not to" he opened the door and walked in.

I was sitting on the toilet floor, tired out from the puking session. I really just wanted to lay back to bed.

Percy walked closer as he hugged me from behind, his strong arms wrapped tight around my waist.

"I think you should have a check by Apollo" he told me. "Sometimes even God can't know what they have inside. Maybe some virus?"

I turned my head and laughed at him. "Virus?" I grinned. "Seriously Seaweed Brain? Immortals can catch virus?"

"Well I'm just assuming" he said. "But that could turn out to be true. You should go and have a check. You've been like this for two weeks already."

"Fine, fine" I sighed. "I'll listen to you then, dear."

I stood up and patted his cheek, then walked back to the bed. I laid there with my arm on my forehead. What the hell is wrong with me? I wondered. But then Percy walked in and leaned on the door frame.

"So when are you gonna go?" He asked, crossing his arms.

"Stop being like a father Percy" I laughed. "I'll be ok"

"I'm just worried about you that's all." He told me. "A proof of love!"

He said the last part with a smirk and I just chuckled at him. He's so adorable sometimes.

"K" I said. "Whatever you say"

Hearing that, a smile spread across his face. He stepped closer to me and rubbed my head.

"I'm gonna come to the Big House ok" he told me. "You don't need to come. Just rest."

He walked out but turned back again. "Also no training today either."

"But-"

"Ah, ah" He shook his head. "You have to rest for a full day. I'll order everyone not to train with you. If you feel bored. Call Piper to come, she free most of the time."

With that, he walked out and left me behind, starring at his back. I just sighed and laid back on the bed. Well that's for the day.

Time Lapses.

I walked through the camp. Everyone greeted me when they saw me. Being the Queen and all, I was the most respected person on both camps. I really hated that though. I used to have demigods bowing to me before. But after many time fighting together. I've overcome with it and saw them as my friends. But they all treated me as a goddess. Much too my dislike.

As I walked to Aphrodite cabin, Hestia suddenly walked up to me and she tapped on my shoulder. I turned back and a grin appeared.

"Hey Aunty!" I said.

She was the only elder generation beside my mother that I respected most. Though being an elder God. Hestia still kept her 13 years old form. Not like Hera or Demeter. Even me, I've changed to 20 years old. Well I couldn't just let Percy walk around, kissing a 12 years old anyway. That would just weird.

Hestia frowned at me.

"I think you should say that again"

"Uh...hey Aunty?" I told her.

"I'm disappointed Artemis" she shook her head. "Being Percy's wife. You've already started to change into a Seaweed Brain like him are you?"

I stood there, thinking for a moment. Then realisation hit me.

"Hi...uh...mom?" I said.

Hearing that, a smile cracked on Hestia's face.

"That's my girl" she exclaimed. "Not turning into a total Seaweed Brain after all"

I just laughed at that. It just felt weird when I used to call her Aunty but now to mother. Then again, it's already weird when I married Percy, my cousin. But in our family tree, those stuff wasn't weird or strange anymore.

"So where are you heading?" Hestia asked.

"I'm coming to Apollo's place" I told her. "To check on something."

"Haven't Apollo got enough Artemis?" Hestia said. "He's already got hospitalised for 1 week."

"No no" I exclaimed, throwing my hands up. "Actually I have had this morning sickness too often. So Percy told me to go and check if there was any virus inside me. It's just ridiculous though but I didn't want him to be worried, so I just gave it a shot"

Hestia just laughed. "Mind if I join you?"

"Of course mom!" I grinned.

Though I could see a smile after that on Hestia face. Like she was expecting something. A mischievous look just sparkled in her eyes.

A moment later, we arrived at Apollo's place. Most of his children were already out so only him inside the cabin. I kicked the door open as I immediately heard someone running and stripping over the metal plates.

"Apollo?" I called into the dark room. Usually his room is not dark like this. "Oi Apollo it's me, Artemis!"

He didn't respond and I gave Hestia a look. I lower myself and used my tracking ability. I found him immediately.

"Apollo come out now" I called out loud. "I know where you are! You can't hide from me. I just need to talk."

Slowly from the dark corner, behind her table. Apollo crawled out. He stepped in front of us and Hestia gasped.

He looked even worse than a zombie. His head and arms were already in bandages. Scratches were still there from the cut of my daggers. I now felt a bit guilty for doing that. Silver was one of the deadliest metal on earth. Their cut can't be healed for a short period even if you were immortal. Maybe I over did that.

"S-sis" he stuttered. "H-how can I help you?"

"Oh come on" I groaned. "I'm not coming here to eat you ya know. Come on, man up!"

I didn't know this is my fault to turn him into a crazy person or not. He screamed out and hid behind the table when I said that.

"No, no don't hurt me!"

Hestia leaned closer too me.

"I can add you another title Artemis" she said. "Goddess of Nightmares."

I laughed at her statement and walked closer to Apollo. Who kept scooting away from me.

"I need you too check on me something ok" I groaned after a while of approaching. "I'm not in the mood of fighting at the moment."

Hearing that, Apollo slowly stood straight up. He looked at me.

"You need me" he said. "To check on you?"

I nodded confusingly at him. Apollo suddenly walked to Hestia. He grabbed her hand and slapped himself across his cheek. He winced and looked down.

"Ok so this's reality" he muttered.

"Can you stop messing around?" I yelled. "I don't have time for this!"

He startled and looked back at me. "Ok ok, come in. I'll give you a check."

After hearing about my condition. Apollo thought for a while. He then muttered something like reading a spell. He pointed that at my tummy and pulled it back. He looked up to me.

"There's..."He said. "Nothing inside."

Hestia's face fell immediately. Like she was expecting something then suddenly lost it.

"I told you mom" I said to her. "I'm totally fin-"

"Hey I haven't finished yet" Apollo cut me off. "There's nothing inside you, except for two lives are growing up day by day in your womb."

I dropped the paper I was holding and Hestia clapped her hands together like she's just found back life.

"W-what did you say?" I frowned.

"I said you're pregnant sis" he told me. "A twin"

"Yesssss!!!" Hestia squealed as she pulling me up and danced around. My face was still shock from what was happening. I stopped Hestia and sat down, then starred at Apollo.

"Are you sure about this?" I asked.

"Doctors wouldn't pray to me if I got that wrong." He shrugged. "I've got that title for a reason"

Hestia sat down beside me. "Don't you feel about it Artemis?" She said. "I mean you are also the goddess of child birth after all"

"I have casted away that title ages ago" I told her. "I thought I would be a maiden goddess forever. So I thought it wasn't necessary for me to hold it. I totally had no idea about that."

I clapped my palm over my forehead. What do I do now? We're in the middle of the war and I'm expecting babies. What worse was Percy wouldn't let me go to the battlefield. Also the immortal babies grow faster than human. 3 days of them equal 1 month for mortal child. After few weeks, they would come out.

"How can I tell Percy now?" I muttered. "That would distract him when we're in the middle of the war."

Hestia laid a hand on my shoulder. "He'll understand Artemis. Also it's already time for you two to have a family."

"But-"

"No but" she told me then turned to Apollo. "You said they were twin. You can identify their gender?"

"Well" Apollo said. "Since it's already two weeks, which is 6 months for a mortal child now. Their gender are already clear."

"Artemis" Apollo turned to me. "You will have a boy and a girl in the future."

I gasped. I always wanted to have a child with Percy. We already discussed about his before. Even planned for our future. He wanted a girl and I wanted a boy. Day he could train them, teach them how to do sword fighting and I teach them archery. Then night, we would sit together by the fire, telling them the story about us. It was just like a dream and now they were starting to come true. A single tear slowly rolled down my eye. I clapped my hand over my mouth, stop from crying out.

"I-I've thought about that" I sobbed. "A future with Percy. And now they were going to come true. It's just..."

"You should tell Percy, Artemis" Hestia told me. "I bet he will be really happy hearing that"

I nodded and said goodbye to them before walking back to our cabin.

Time Lapses (sorry for a bit long. I couldn't update for the last whole week.)

I was sitting on my bed, waiting for Percy. The door was opened that he walked in with a grin.

"Hey love" he gave me a kiss. "Feel any better."

"Y-yeah..." I stuttered.

He frowned at me. "What's wrong?" Then sat down beside me.

I bit my lip. I suddenly felt nervous to tell him that. What would he act? Would he jump up and scream out like a mad man? Or he would faint right there or pick me up an spin me around? A smile spread across my face when I imagine that. I folded my hands into fists.

"You're going to become a father Percy" I told him.

Silent atmosphere came crashing down on us. I could only hear the wind blasted against the window outside. Percy starred deep into my eyes, his eyes sparkled. He spoke.

"But I'm not pregnant Artemis"

My face dropped. All the imagination, all the expectation I had in mind just broke down into pieces. Suddenly, anger boiled up from inside me. Just because of the stupidity of this Seaweed Brain and all my dream just crashed down. Is his brain made out from seaweed or seaweed blocked all the nerves in his brain. Though I still kept my composure not to kill him.

"No, I'm pregnant Seaweed Brain!" I yelled at him.

"Wait..." He stopped. "So you're pregnant too Artemis?"

That was just enough. I don't know is this my life or the Fate set me to meet a person with the level of stupidity is intense. I just exploded from that.

"I swear to all the primordial of this universe Seaweed Brian" I said. "If you say another stupid word like that. I'm gonna send you to Hades right away."

"But what do you mean?!" He asked, throwing out his hands.

"I'm having a twin alright!" I yelled. "Not you but me. I'm having your children in my stomach"

This time he stared back me. His eyes widened, mouth hang low.

"R-really?"

I rolled my eyes. "Do I look like I'm joking Seaweed Brian?"

He started to laughed stupidly while still shock from it.

"Ahhhhhh" he screamed. "I'm gonna become a father. I'm gonna have kids."

"Finally my words have got through the thickness of seaweed in your head." I huffed, crossing my arms.

He stopped screaming and looking back at me. "You could've told me from the beginning you know."

"I've already told you right from the start" I yelled at him. "Just because you're too stupid to understand Seaweed Brain."

"Hey!" He protested. "I have the name 'Seaweed Brain' for a reason alright"

"Oh" I stared at him in surprise. "So now you've admitted that you're stupid?"

"I didn't say that" he sneered.

"Huh?" I looked at him confusingly.

"I said I had the name for a reason" he told me, rolling his eyes. "I didn't say I'd admitted that I was stupid."

I sighed at him. Just how much more stupidity could I get from him.

"Just stop being a smart arse ok" I said. "No matter how you want to prove. You're still a Seaweed Brian."

He picked me up and threw me on the bed. He climbed up with me and laid beside me. Looking down.

"Well at least I'm your Seaweed Brain." He smirked.

I just chuckled at him. Despite being stupid. He was still adorable at the same time. That's why I loved him even more.

"Yeah, yeah" I scooted closer to his chest. "You're mine."

We cuddled like that for a while. Percy kept playing with my hair and I enjoying the warm radiated out from his body.

"Artemis" He suddenly spoke.

"Hm?" I asked.

"Have you got the name for them yet?" He asked. "I mean they will come out soon right?"

"Yeah" I told him. "I want them to carry Greek name like us. I was thinking about the boy like Berenike, means the bringer of victories. Or Ownis means brave"

"How about a Roman name for them?" Percy asked. "After all, I used to be a Praetor. They must carry a Roman name. I was thinking a name Peacus means peace in there."

"You always want peace after all" I laughed.

He kissed my forehead and hugged me closer. "Don't tell me you don't want to"

"You know me right?" I said. "About the girl, we could choose Amara which is internally beautiful, or Elpida means hope, or Algle for might and beautiful."

"You've been planning for that haven't you" Percy gave me a mischievous look.

"Shut up Seaweed Brian" I pushed him off playfully. "They just suddenly came up in my mind that's all. But there are two many names for us to choose. I don't know which"

Percy just smiled and he kissed me. "How about we choose them all for each of our kids in the future?"

I laughed and laid my hands on his chest. "You sure are greedy Percy"

He smirked, then leaned down to kiss me. Our tongues fought for dominance. He kissed down my chin, to my neck and slowly down my body. He pulled my shirt up until it reached my chest then continued to kiss down my tummy. He kissed around it, caring every part of it.

"We're expecting you" He whispered on to my tummy. "Come out soon ok?"

He moved up and gave me a gentle kiss on my lips.

"Thank you" he said with a smile.

I just laughed and hit his chest playfully. "For what?"

He just grinned.

"For everything."

N/A Sorry guys for not updating for the last whole week. I'm having school at the moment. Yeh, I know. Summer in Aus is over. Anyway, I'll try to update every Friday so you guys just keep reading and hopefully give back so votes. Love you guys and see you in a near future.
